Hi Lisa, glad to know I am not the only one getting stressed over where to stay and also undecided between the Riu negril and RTB. I am a UK B2B and we will be getting married March 2010. I would love to get married at the RTB but also have to consider family who wish to be at the wedding and are unsure about the diffrence in the cost of the RTB. I have also been informed by the TA that there must be 80% of wedding guests staying at the same hotel as the wedding, so unable to book RTB if most of our family members decide to stay at the Riu Negril. Some family members also wanting to wait until later in the year to book to see if cost's come down. Reading Travel Advisor they also seems to be very mixed reviews although the pictures look beautiful for both hotels. I am a beach person and again conflicting reviews about the beach at the Riu Negril. Hopeing to have made a decision and have everything booked by the end of March 2009.

Hi Vicky, I am also a 2010 BTB and hopeing to marry at riu tropical bay negril. Been to Thompson who advised brochure not out until November and Thomas cook who said Jan/Feb 2009. Also tried riu website but not able to enquire for 2010 wedding packages yet.

Hi everyone, My name is Bev and I will be getting married late Sept 2009 or early 2010 in Jamaica but we are still undecided where? Negril or Ocho Rios and I would also like it to be affordable for family and close friends to attend.
