Hi, the Riu Tropical bay was also my 1st choice for our DW and we had the same reaction from friends and family due to the cost. Then we compared it to the cost of a wedding at the Riu Clubhotel and although not all the guests are saying that they will be able to attend there either, some family members have now booked.

Hi desser & shellk, looked at dresses online & in mag's but think I will wait until the end of the summer before I really put my heart into it. I would like to drop a dress size or at least tone up so started walking, which I quite enjoy and it is not too bad when the weather is nice. Already got the wedding rings and H2B still unsure if he will go the whole hog and be suited up or dress more for the weather.

Hi Shellk and desser, 4 family members booked so far ( 2 from each side) & bewteen 15 - 20 have said that they would like to go and is including some with their partners and the single's with their friends. However, some have also booked hols for this summer so we will see. It will be nice if they all get there, but because I was not expecting a lot of friend's and family to be there, I will not be upset if the number drop's. Good choice of dress shellk although they were both reallly beautiful, one less thing to worry about, have you got the wedding rings yet? desser - hope you have some good news after the weekend, you certainly deserve it and as shellk said with a big discount or some major up grades!!!!!

hi shellk, Not sure if we are doing anything when we get back yet or. But got time to think about that now I am not stressing any more. I know H2B would like to do something when we get back for friends and family who are not able to come to the wedding. 4 family members booked to day. Hope desser is doing okay, she may be having a break from the site because it is even more stressful when you see other B2B's getting their confirmation dates and times, when you are still waiting. But fingers crossed that the Wedding dept and TA, will pull out all the stops for her now, having messed up her booking big time.
