  1. AWE Congrats to her For all of her accomplishments! You are an awesome furmommie with a lot of patience!
  2. I can't imagine how people can do stuff like that to a helpless animal. It really does make me sick....also reminds me of how good my two have it and how spoiled they are
  3. Ok, so I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right section or not. I just got a forward from my sister, and it literally turned my stomach. Please take a minute to read this and sign to petition I think I'm gonna go give my dogs a bone! ---- Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, took a dog from the street, he tied him to a rope in an art gallery, starving him to death. For several days, the 'artist' and the visitors of the exhibition have watched emotionless the shameful 'masterpiece' based on the dog's agony, until eventually he died. But this is not all... the prestigious Visual Arts Biennial of the Central American decided that the 'installation' was actually art, so that Guillermo Vargas Habacuc has been invited to repeat his cruel action for the biennial of 2008. Let's STOP HIM!!!!! Copy and paste this link into your computer web browser Boycott to the presence of Guillermo Vargas "Habacuc" at the Bienal Centroamericana Honduras 2008 Petition Please do it. It's free of charge, there is no need to register, and it will only take 1 minute to save the life of an innocent creature. Please also send this e-mail to as many contact as you can... Let's stop him!!! If you want to double check all the above informations you can google the name of the 'artist' to see all I have just said corresponds to truth.
  4. I have to go find the pictures of the girls in their Christmas outfits....
  5. I'm torn between vacation and pets.....but obviously, based on my April Siggy (which I did yesterday) I still find a way to include the furbabies Mybe I'll vote Pets and then I can include my dog-niece and dog-nephew...
  6. I like sparkly things...bling out the E :-D Just try to keep the cake simple, like everyone else said.
  7. Hi there! I'm getting married at the Moon Palace the weekend before you!!! They can accomodate more than 35 people. The private dinner they give you with the packages are for up to 35 people, but you can add on a reception or a coctail reception if you want, and they can definately do more than 35! We'll probably have 50-75 people. They are a bit expensive, but I feel it's worth it. We told our guests that they don't HAVE to stay at the Moon Palace, but to make sure the price difference is worth it. We're covering the day passes for our guests for the day of our wedding, but if they want to hang out other days at our resort, we want them to know it'll cost just under $100 each. Plus, make sure you guests know that if they stay 3 or more nights, certain excursions are actually included. Let me know if you have any questions. There are other Moon Palace brides on here too. Betsy just got back and I'm pretty sure someone else just got married there. Good luck!!!
  8. Ugh! That's annoying!!! I'd say scaled down version...like if everyone else is getting travel mugs with your monogram or something, maybe just go get them generic ones.
  9. Very nice! Thank god I work from home, so there's no one to see how obsessed I am with this forum!!!!!
  10. I was actually just about to suggest what JamaicaBride said for her FI's bachelor party. For a friend of mines bachelorette party, we all chipped in, rented an escalade and one person stayed sober and drove. It was cheaper per person than the limo would have been and we had it all night.
  11. Wow! I can't wait for FI to get home from work so I can show him your slideshow LOL
  12. Everything will be ok! Our group rate is super hight too! I told people if they can find a better rate, book it that way...
  13. I agree with everyone else. Ask her, tell her she was the first person you thought of because you feel closer to her lately and that you don't expect to be asked to be in hers.
  14. Betsy, I have some questions and am not sure where's the right thread to ask you them or if I should just PM you...so I figured i'd ask in the review thread Did you do a full reception or just a coctail? Also, did you do the cake cutting in the gazebo? How did it work?
  15. I love how the cat is just laying there, like you're disturbing it by taking the pictures LOL They look funky and would probably be a cool table decoration. I like them
  16. Betsy, your pictures look GREAT! You look beautiful and soooo happy And your family is adorable. I can't wait for January!!!!!!
  17. I'm with Yari...I wish your SIL "slipped" into the pool (I read your vent about the issues you were having). But it did sound like you had a great time, and that's what matters!! I'm glad everything worked out Can't wait to see the pics!!!!
