Sarah- When I booked with my TA we took a room block of 20 rooms in the new tower, which is all Jr. Club Suites for $128 pp a night. That way all my guests would be together. I visited the Deluxe rooms in the old tower and there is a big difference between the deluxe old tower and Jr. new tower, though the price was only $20 different per day. So we went with the Jr. We have additional guests booking who are requesting the new tower by our block but they aren't guaranteed. Does any of this make sense? Heather- I can't wait to read your review. Congrats I can't believe your wedding is so soon. You are going to have the time of your life. I too am having my wedding ceremony at The Dreams Resort and my guests are staying there. Is anyone having a welcome reception there? Taking advantage of the fact the drinks/food would already be part of the all-inclusive? We are trying to save a little money and were thinking of just having everyone meet up at a pool bar and doing a little gathering there. Thoughts. Is anyone using Kristin from DD to do their wedding? I am but not communicating at all with the Dreams and not sure if I have too. BEst to everyone

It is above the beach but it about 70 steps down to tthe beach. Which is doable but a hike.

I also did this fun one for the STD and then they did the boarding passes for their invites. Then you just slip the picture invite in the sleeve and at the top it says SAVE THE DATE. I also did some with a magnet on the back so you could pull the velum off and put the picture with the date on the fridge.

We are having our ceremony at the Dreams on the beach then moving our guests to Villa Mediterraneo which is down the road about 5min for reception and dancing. I am so excited. I do have a few pictures of the Dreams Resort mainly of the beach and restaurants. I will try to upload and post soon. I will be busy next week but will get them up. best

Casa Carol Ann is perfect for having a bunch of friends stay at. It is like a mini hotel and a killer price. The obsticles were based around a having a wedding there. The ceiling where you would dine is really low and when we were there thought it was windy there was no breeze at all, and my fiance was burning up during our tour. The house itself is amazing and you guys will have so much fun. great choice Congrats....

One thing though their prices are more NYC than Mexico.

I am so sorry I thought I put titles under each pic. Oops. Casa Carol Ann starts the slide show Villa Mediterraneo is most of the pics and you are right with the raised beach, huge pool and solid white house Casa Kalista is the one with the lush green grounds, multi levels, hot tub and huge bedrooms Casa Palapa is the one with people in it. Which is 4 stories high I have a picture of the entire villa from down the street posted. This one is where I stayed this year and plan to stay again next year. Iguana Hotel is the pics of the hotel which is in Mismaloya very affordable place for guests to stay and it is really nice Villa Verde is right on the beach with the BIG Palapa very rustic looking. I will try to go in and put in titles again. Trip from Dreams to Mediterraneo is no longer than 5 minutes. It is 1km away. I am not 100% about the shuttle service. My fiance and I are going to use a 16 passenger van to get to the photo shoot with our wedding party. Ask Stewart about renting the passenger van from Iguana Hotel he could help you out. Me too.. When I walked out to the pool area at Villa Mediterraneo I fell in love with the idea to have cocktails around the pool, then sit down for dinner. After dinner all the guests would move down to the private (yes it is as private as you can get in Mexico. It is a man made beach above the water) beach and dance over the water. I can't wait. My wedding coordinator Kristin dazzling details does a great job setting up lounge areas and dance floors so this is what we will have on the beach. It will really be like 3 venues 1. Dreams for ceremony 2. pool side reception 3. beach area for dancing. We are hiring a shuttle van with a/c for I think but don't quote me $250ish dollars to take everyone to the reception and to make one trip back to the resort around 11pm. After 11pm we will just call for cabs it is only a 5 minute car ride. Please let me know if you need more info

OMG!!! China Blanca looks amazing. I couldn't ask my guests to pay the price to stay out in Punta Mita and be so far from Puerto Vallarta, but it is an amazing villa and you would have a beautiful wedding there. Casa Carol Ann is great too. We decided against it because of the low ceiling and there wasn't a breeze there. Weird because it was windy when we were there. Sorry one last thing. Kathie I can't wait to see your pics of Mediterraneo, because I have been told they had done a number of upgrades that are amazing. Kristin from Dazzlign Details just went there two weeks ago and told me the place looks amazing.

Incase anyone was wondering our agenda is this: Ceremony at Dreams Resort 5pm (since this is where our guests are staying) Photos Dreams and Zona Romantica 5:30-7pm Reception/Dancing Villa Mediterraneo 7pm-? there is not limit We are having our reception around the pool then moving all our guests to the private beach for dancing and drinks all night long. We will be having fireworks over the water while we are dancing. I can't wait. I wanted to do two venues so it felt like you were going from the ceremony to a new site. Once I saw Villa Med it all played out and it is so private and had a beach. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. I am so so so excited. BTW Casa Kalista was our second choice. The villa will blow your mind and the price is really good. Kristin from DAzzlign Details is our coordinator and Stewart from Boca Bento is doing our catering. Best to everyone PS I shouldn't share this but we are having approx. 60-70 guests and doing the ceremony/reception for under 20K (I think you could do a little less if you cut some costs where we didn't want to)

All villas outside of Villa Verde are amazing. But Villa Verde has a huge pool area on the beach which the other don't have, except Villa Mediterraneo this villa is for someone who wants to WOW their guests and have a very private event. I really hope everyone feels like a winner, because 5lbs or 25lbs we should all feel great that we are in love, healthy and have the opportunity to walk down the isle in an exotic place DW..... So I had to weigh in tonight because I don't think I can find the time tomorrow. So all in all I believe I lost approx 12ish lbs. Though by the scale it is more, when we started I had just came back from vac and it was also that time you know. So I calculate approx 4-5 lbs in just water weight, so it was actually more than 12lbs after that. Well hey either way. I am feeling good. I have about 7-8 more lbs to go to wear my dress. I wish every one the best.

Hey ladies I am going to St. John's in Oct for my BF wedding. I want to treat her to a day at the spa. I am staying at the Westin and know they have a spa, but I wanted a place maybe different. Where we could do massages, mani-pedi you know the works. Any suggestions? Thanks

Martee a great way to gain points is to post new threads. Maybe do some research on Tulum and provide other brides with helpful insight to what you discover. That is one way. Best of luck

Best of Luck to everyone tomorrow.... I told Ann I was going to post before and after photos. I'm not sure if this has been the practice but it has been what has motivated me, and the support from you guys. But knowing I was planning on posting pics really helped me through a lot of this..... Okay so here it is..... This is the picture that made me decide to join BL3. This picture was taken by our villa pool in Puerto Vallarta the end of May - beginning of June. This was my turning point. This next picture was taken on Sunday at Coney Island. Since I started training I probably gained more muscle than lost weight, but hey as long as I don't jiggle. I guess it is worth it. I also lost my boobs I just wanted to use that smilie.... The part you can't see in the picture is that this skirt didn't fit me when I went to mexico and what you aren't seeing is that I just put it on in this picture without even unbuttoning or unzipping it. That felt good. I really hope everyone else who participated had a lot of success. I have always been a little thick for my height. I am only 5'1", so weight is something I have to work on at all times. I eat like a horse and now have a trainer so I hope to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I hope you all feel like winners. I may see you in BL4 or 5. I tried on my wedding dress today, which was a sample I bought and couldn't fit into when I did buy it. Not that I am ready to walk down the isle in it, but I can at least fit into it and zip it with ease. Yeah!!! probably a few more lbs gone will help. Okay I am rattling on because I am nervous about posting pics of me in my bathing suit, but hell with it here I go....................... another one I wanted to use. hee hee

Thanks. The unfortunate part is that I believe all it got me was sick I have taken this contest very serious, but I also started a job last year that wasn't good for me and I gained like 18 lbs. So I have been fighting for almost 8 months to get this weigh off. I am going to have a very busy week so I am going to post my before and after pics. NOw...... OMG!!! Here I go.
