It is a lot, trust me. If you guys are excellent dancers and think you can remember three minutes worth of music, then hey go for it. But just keep in mind that its longer than you think once your actually dancing to it. Another thing your choreographer maybe thinking about is your guests. Sometimes it can seem really long for a guest to watch the couple dance for over three minutes. But ultimately its your wedding and you guys should do whatever is going to make you happy. So if you want your full song, I say go for it! I appreciate your honesty...you said the exact same thing the choreographer said...hmmm...I'll have to ponder this a bit more...
  2. I agree with you...invite everyone since it's a small group...budget permitting...
  3. thinks that our first dance song should be cut to two minutes...the song is only 3:18...did any of you shorten your FD song...I think it's a ridiculous request...

I really like the idea of fireworks...was it expensive?
  5. The DJ has requested full blown equipment...great idea about contacting other dj's...thanks!
  6. Does anyone know where to rent DJ equipment in Cabo? The quotes from the hotel and WC are way too high. We are flying our DJ in and he is checking with the airline to see what he can bring with him, but I wanted to have other options just in case.
  7. Here are some preliminary photos for you to view. I will post the professional ones when I get them. THis will get you started. Please feel free to ask any questions from food to dj to decor. I'm happy to help. Hi Cara, Thanks for the photos. You look amazing! I have a question for you...did you dance on the concrete and if so, did you have any issues with it? I'm a little worried someone will slip. Thanks much!
  8. I used to work in post production and we edited videos for the Coen brothers and Bob Casale from Devo. The Coen brothers were shy, geeky boys, but really nice...Bob Casale brought all of us Devo's greatest hits CD's... Oh and Kirsty Alley sat next to us at lunch one day (didn't meet her though)...all I can remember was that she was extremely loud...LOL.
  9. she's beautiful...when we picked up our RR at eight weeks she was already 17 pounds...now at 6 months, 75 pounds and growing...the FI and I joke that our next dog is going to be teacup size so that we get to experience a little one all of the time!
  10. shortly after dinner or long after and did you play a song when you did it?
