I'm locking my stuff in my suitcase lol sounds easy but my cases all fit inside each other so they will be in 3 cases - yeah they can move the cases but they will be seen moving a bloody big silver suitcase lol

I agree and i've done the same. I got sick of waiting for the resort photographer to get back to me so I binned him and got someone else who answers really quickly and I love her photos. Don't feel bad just cut them off not worth the grief

We aren't doing anything - it's their holiday and I feel bad enough about taking a few hours out of their time there. We might arrange something but it will be spur of the moment and won't involve FI's lot I can guarantee it lmao

I've had my engagement ring 4 years and its never needed to be done - i got it in cancun lol But when I put my wedding ring next to it it has faded so i'll get it done before I go but i agree it depends on how thick they do it as to how long it lasts

I wouldn't go either - and when they ask just say sorry i'm busy and leave it at that. Sod them if they want to play that game let them. I've got groups of friends that are the same and now I just stay clear I don't trust myself not to get into a punch up lol One of my really good friends asked me to her wedding party (and I mean we were really close!) but not her wedding. I wasn't bothered not keen on them anyway but the party happened to be the night of another friend's wedding that I'd already said I'd go to lol I told her look i'm sorry she got in first and she is gothic and I think me turning up dressed like that to your wedding party would go down like a fart in a lift - she agreed but still didn't speak to me for a while lol I sent her a card and tried in vain!! for 3 months to drop off her present but she was either not in or going out. In the end I said look either let me know when I can drop off this present or it's staying here and if it's here 2 long it will get broke lol She eventually turned up!! Upshot is people are weird and get in these stupid little clicks that always fall to rat shit. If you are going to feel uncomfortable then don't go i've done that so many times I've lost count. That same friend has a group she hangs around with, some are nice some are evil, about 6 years ago I had a verbal bashing off her sister in law. Now unlike me I didn't react just smiled and said i'm never going out with them again and I haven't. You can do it xx

I know how you feel only my aunt has asked about my wedding lol all the rest of my family pulled a face when I said it was in Mexico and snorted!! I thought you know what screw them I don't fit in with them anyway they are all so square and up their own arses!! I really thought I would have the probs with my friends not coming and only one has turned into a total cow!! the one I thought would act up did but then booked. It's FI's friends that are being the pain and haven't booked. FMIL and new hubby have booked (unfortunately) but I only know this because I got a call off the travel agent lol I've not spoken to FMIL since last xmas and that was about 3 words so my wedding will be interesting lol Mostly because as my friend pointed out to me i have no inner monologue and am very likely to say to her "oi you bitch" lmao If you feel that hurt have it out with them it's not gonna make you feel worse but remember it might backfire and make things worse x

My cousin has had one for about 10 years or more. She's in her early 40s now i think. She said it was really hard to deal with at first and she has had to have it resited a couple of times but she says she hardly notices it now. She has 2 kids also and has only had those since her op. It's early days it has to get better and if its only temporary there is light at the end of the tunnel xx

I married someone just like that!! I should have known when his wages went to his mother and she gave him an allowance lol I left him 9 months after we got married because I found out he had taken out loans in my name,credit cards etc and it cost me £30k to pay off!! It took me 8 years and some bartering to get the debt reduced off some people. Get it sorted now because you do not want to be in the same position I was. I was lucky I had mum and dad to live with otherwise I would have been homeless and no cash to pay for anything, I couldn't even afford the bus fares to work I walked! Needless to say that will never happen again lol

Yeah mine have been non existant also! FMIL hasn't even asked FI if he needs anything or what he wants as a wedding present! Now I know we are 6 months out but I know it won't change lol My friends can be really flaky once my m8 had my bday present for 4 months she couldn't be arsed to drive 12 miles to drop it off and so I picked it up when I dropped hers off! I learnt a long time ago people are self involved lol
