Hello ladies! I purchased these 4 dresses in preparation for our wedding- but ended up needing different sizes so I had to buy all new dresses. The dresses are adorable- strapless cotton bubble dresses and are perfect for beach weddings because they are so comfortable for the girls! None of them have ever been worn- they all still have the tags. I have 2 Mediums and 2 Larges available for sale. I am asking $10 each + shipping. Please PM me if interested. Thanks!

Ok ladies....I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get everything worked out!!! SO....here is where we landed: Wedding is moving to Dreams. We will stay there for 5 days and then head for Beach Palace for our "honeymoon!" This way, I feel like I get the best of both worlds- AND, our guests are happy (: AND- we will be in Mexico for 12 Days!!! Yeah!!! Thanks again for all of the well-wishes and encouragement!!! Looks like we will be leaving on the day of BeeBumbles wedding, but we will be there starting Sunday the 5th- so maybe we will run into you! Let me know if I can be of any help to either of you guys!!! -
Hi Ladies!!! I have tried REALLY hard to use the search function and have been reading an immense amounts of posts, but I have been soarly unsuccessful in finding pictures of a wedding at Dreams that was actually on the Beach vs. in the Gazebo. Can anyone help? Or even if you have pictures of the potential location- that would be great, too!!! Also, does anyone know if there is an additional cost for a beach set up vs. the gazebo? Thank you in advance!!!!

Laura- Sorry! I have been a little MIA as well- dealing with all of the drama. The onsite coordinator is Valeria and she is an angel! I would email her directly. So- I got news today that we are moving the wedding to Dreams. We are still staying 7 nights at the Beach Palace, which I am pumped about, but will actually be having the wedding at Dreams. Guess I will go check out the Dreams forum! Thank you guys for your help!!! -

Beach Palace in Cancun???

I think we will probably end up getting the raffia fans in turquoise and printing programs to attach to them on a metallic orange paper. Link for the fans is attached. Colored Medium Palm-leaf Hand Fans / Pack of 10 : Unique Wedding Favors - Wedding Reception Favors - Bridal Shower Favors So~ An update for everyone- maybe a slight kink in the Beach Palace plans! We are struggling with the guest list and may end up changing resorts based on the price. When we booked the group contract, they assured us that we got the cheapest rates that we would be able to find. Unfortunately, this is very far from the truth since we are not able to package the air for our guests. We are finding much cheaper rates through normal travel sites and are in negotiation to cancel our contract and move to a different resort. I am slightly panicked, just because we are in limbo and will not know anything until Monday. If we move, I think it will be to Dreams Cancun, which I am kind of sad about, but it will be close to $1000 cheaper per couple to stay at Dreams!!! I am positive it will work out, but it is just a bit nerve-racking to not know with the wedding being 5 months away!!! I will let everyone know what happens!!!!! -

Laura~ I am glad that you heard back from someone! I have heard several girls say that once they were 3 months prior, they had no problems getting in touch with their wedding coordinators. I guess they are so busy they are forced to prioritize by wedding date. Re: my FI attire- he will be wearing a tan linen suit, unless he can talk me out of it before then. Odds are- he will wear it and he will like it! July wedding will be hot, so I might be persuaded once we get there, but he will at least take a few pics with the jacket on. My dress is too dressy for him not to wear the jacket~ I think our pics would look funny if he wore something else. We will probably buy ours before we get there, because he is a bit metro and would FREAK if the suit didn't fit right. I hope this helps!!! -
Hey everyone!!! I am a Beach Palace bride and I ran into the same thing. I was going to book Vincent from Del Sol, but Sol responded and said that the Palace resorts would not allow photographers that were licensed in Mexico, so instead of chancing it, I booked a photographer from the states. In the midst of asking though, I was told at one point that I would need a day pass for my photog if he/she was not staying at the resort. Honestly, I think the corporate policy is no outside photogs, but I do not think the onsite coordinators care as much. I think that they are just required to give you the "policy."

Laura- Have you tried any of the shops locally that make the invitations in house? You might have some luck there. I made my own, and to be quite honest, it was very simple and I saved a TON of money. I used cardstock scrapbooking paper with a fabulous two-sided design. It took a while to find turquoise/orange paper. I created 4X6 cards by cutting the 12X12 paper and inserted a 4X6 picture to create a small book by using a hole punch to punch 2 holes and tied it with satin ribbon. They were very unique~ no one could believe that I made them. In speaking with Valeria, she did not mention that there was any sort of cost for reserving the sky terrace. I assumed that it came as part of the wedding package (I even chose the free one.) I am having my ceremony at 6 on the wedding terrace with the reception immediately following on the sky terrace. Valeria did mention that we could only stay on the terrace until 10:30- I guess because it is outdoors and it would be loud. I just found this on the website: Our Free Symbolic, Non Denominational Wedding Package includes the following: "Sky Deck" terrace, including a wedding structure decorated with natural flowers On the a/v pricing, I received it from Valeria when I went to the resort Sept. 29th. She didn't mention that they had switched companies and we have spoken on numerous occasions since then. Still curious about bringing in my own DJ. Lots of the girls on the forum talk about DJ Mannia, but I haven't asked Valeria yet if she would allow it. I will find out! -

Ladies~ strange situation. I received different sound prices than the ones posted earlier. This is why I wanted to confirm. (From what I understand, this happens a lot in Mexico.) I have: Small wedding (2-40 PPL) 1 Self Powered Speaker 1 CD Player 1 IPOD Plug 1 Wireless Mic Set Up $180 Time frame is not specified- I assume for the length of the reception? Larger wedding (45-100 PPL) 2 Self Powered Speakers 1 Audio Mixer (6 channels) 1 CD PLayer 1 IPOD Plug 1 Wireless Mic Set Up $310 Time frame is not specified- I assume for the length of the reception? DJ- 2 Hours to include: 4 self powered speakers 1 audio mixer 1 CD player DJ Equip 1 Wireless Mic DJ 2 Hours Set Up $760 DJ- 4 Hours to include: 4 self powered speakers 1 audio mixer 1 CD player DJ Equip 1 Wireless Mic DJ 4 Hours Set Up $890 Luxury Package: (Up to 100 PPL) 16 Lights (to be set up around the area with different colors) 6 LED Lamps 4 Self Powered Speakers 1 Audio Mixer 1 Wireless Mic CD Player DJ Mixer for 4 hours Set Up $1600 Memory Package (Up to 50 PPL) 96" X 96" White Screen 1 Self Powered Speaker 1 DVD Player 1 Wireless Mic Setup $620 Interesting!!! I wonder if they have changed companies since September. Did your prices come from PSAV? I hope your prices are more current- because they seem a little lower! -

Awesome! Thanks for the info on the Spanish for dummies..... I am not sure how many people will end up coming. This could get interesting quickly! We started with 200 invites and I am praying for 50-60 guests. How many OOT bags are you planning? Are the DJ/sound prices that you have from Valeria? They look similar. I will check them when I get back home this weeked~ just to make sure that we are all getting the same information. I just realized that you are getting married the weekend after I am! Are you coming in on Tuesday the 7th? -
Beach Palace in Cancun???

Hey guys! Sorry I have been MIA for a few days...in Miami for work. I would reach out to Valeria and ask again. She had mentioned 1 wedding/day but that may be because they usually dont have more than 1 requested per day. I am not 100% sure. From the looks of things when I was there, It didn't seem like people were running each other over to reserve the location. (There were tons of dates available.) As far as music is concerned, I am taking an IPOD, speakers, and MAYBE renting the speakers- which is around $300. I can check and post prices when I get back home. They have DJ packages available that are up to $1000 if I remember correctly- I remember thinking they were expensive. Photography: I am bringing my photographer with me from the states. Unfortunately, they do not allow photogs from Mexico except for the resort photog.- which is the same one that they use at MP. I would check the MP reviews for pictures from their photog. Valeria and I spoke about me bringing my photog. from the states and she was fine with that- even though my contract says otherwise. For all she knows, they are just friends attending the wedding. Fire Dancers: I wanted both fire dancers and photographers, but my FI said no. I am opting for fireworks since the fire dancers perform at the nightly shows for the resort and my guests will have the chance to experience it there. If it is in your budget- I say go for it. $1300.00 is quite a bit, but I never tried to negotiate with them. Valeria would set that up for you if you are interested. Hope all is well on the planning front!!! Talk to everyone soon! -
Beach Palace in Cancun???

Laura, My guests and I are staying at the Beach Palace. I was told that if they did not stay at the BP we would not have priority for the wedding terrace and the sky terrace (Which is where I am having my reception.) Basically meaning since they only have 1 wedding per day, that if someone else who was staying at the resort wanted your date, they would be priority. I thought about staying at Moon and getting married at Beach, but this changed my mind. I would ask again- just for peace of mind. Regarding the reception, Valeria is virtually letting me do whatever I want. When I was speaking with Claudia, she was very by the book, but Valeria will let you do what you want. She was going to let me bring my own decor, even bring in my own flowers. On the Sky terrace, they will close it off for you no matter how many guests you have. This is where I am doing my entire reception. The optional services, they have many more than those listed. (IE- fireworks in the post above) They can get you fire dancers if you want them. Maybe try Valeria- she usually answers quicker. [email protected] Hope this helps! -
