    I paid $215 for 75 invites and reply cards. (came with enveloppes). That included delivery. It was worth it to not have to deal with paying duty on arrival. And they send them priority Canada Post, so it was pain free!

    If you like very simple, contemporary invites, and dont want the hassle of ordering from the US into Canada... look no further! Service was QUICK... and my invites came in about 10 days. You can customize color, font, wording etc. I am having probs putting a photo in here, and dont want to attach it.     great website! i have emailed them to ask if the flowers are 'real touch' or similar. They look great though! Might i suggest for the bouquet toss - have someone in the wedding party go to a flower shop the day of the wedding, and put a small bouquet together in the colors that your bridal bouquets will be in.

    OMG Pisces! i am in Nanaimo! Tooooo funny! Yes i was thinking about bringing it here. However, i am going to Vancouver for a shower about 3 weeks before the wedding anyways, so i may get there in may, and then go back in June. Too bad your friend doesnt know a seamstress in Nanaimo!

    Thanks for the info so far..... i am also worried cuz i am hoping to lose 10 or so pounds. Before wedding day. Might not be before dress fitting though. Argh! What if i go 6 weeks before departure, then 2 weeks before in case they need to do anything else. Will this be ok? Thanks!

    You HAVE to get travel insurance. i am a travel agent, and have heared so many horror stories involving uninsured travellers. it is a small price to pay for your peace of mind!

    Is it really necessary to have 2 dress fittings? My dress is at a store in a different city than I live in (2 hour ferry ride and 1 hr drive). I really cant be bothered to go twice. If i go in for a fitting 6 weeks before I leave, will this be OK? Anyone ever done this? Advice would be great!

    I have confirmed with my WC, no problem with outside vendors. My photographer and videographer have offered to pay the day pass... I got lucky! It wont be a problem. And i wont have to pay the day pass anyways!

    Welcome to the forum! You will find so much info on here... i am sure you will find yourself looking through the ideas, over a glass of wine at 1 in the morning... on many occasions!! (As i am doing right now!) Have fun with the planning.... you will have a blast here!!
