    It is expensive to buy a lot of tools unless you are going to keep making things later. If you are only going to make a few things, like just your invitations, you might as well let someone else do it.

    jmiranda, those are beautiful pages! I love to scrapbook and make cards. I don't own a Cricut, but I did buy a Cuttlebug. It is much less expensive and is a die-cut machine. You can't weld the letters together, but there are very nice alphabets and shapes. There are beautiful embossing folders too. I use it a lot for making cards

    You could ask the saleslady in the store near you to give you an idea for a mini album. That way you would have less pages to make and smaller size pages too. The store should have some samples of things they have made in the store, then you can copy their ideas to save time. You could buy a kit or several patterns of coordinated paper from one brand to make it easier to decide what paper to use. There are nice papers out now by Basic Grey, a company I like.

    I really like the SDT in the bottle with the sand and umbrellas, just about the best of any other idea I have seen.

    I think your necklace is beautiful and you are very talented. I don't know how you learned to do so many strands. I have done a little beading but it is nothing like yours.

    My name is Emily and my fiance is Matt. I am a CNA and Matt is a paramedic. We hope to pick a wedding date in the spring or summer of 2009 and would like to go somewhere special for our wedding. We are thinking about Puerto Vallarta. I don't think many of my family will be able to make it. We'll go with just a few then. I like to scrapbook and make cards so I would like to make my own invitations.
