It all depends on where you are getting married. I have written confirmation from the ROR that I can bring Brian on site, and just have to pay for a day pass. I believe that will be $50 for him since its for the wedding. A friend of mine recently got married at Beaches Boscobel and she had to bring her photog with her, claim it was an "uncle" and pay for everything. Beaches/Sandals I believe does not allow an outside vendor.

Or at least consider the freeze-dried petals. I think thats what I am going to do, and then use ecofeti for the toss

Here is my extremely POSITIVE review on PlumeriasWeddingFlowerBoutique Initially I was going to order from AA. I had contacted Staci way back in May of this year but was not really ready to pay for anything at that point! So, around October, I went back on to order and lo-and-behold, there was very little room to do my flowers. I contacted Staci and Roberta (Plumeria's). Roberta responded right away and Staci responded a day later. I asked Staci to send me a flower contract ASAP since I would have been the last May date. I never recieved it, and by then I figured that they had so many orders in, I might not have been able to order from them.... ....so anyways, I spoke with Roberta like 20 times in regards to my flowers, letting her know what I was looking for- colors, flower types, etc- and a day later she had my quote ($400 with shipping for my bouquet with flower jewel and bouquet buckle, MOH Bouquet, 3 BM bouquets and 2 Moms bouquets). I figured that I'd get my flowers sometime in April...but when I received my contract in the mail a week later, the ship date was December 1st! So basically from start to finish it would take a little over a month. I signed right away and had some issues with PayPal (long story) but she worked with me to figure something out. I paid in full because I hate remembering deadlines... Got home yesterday (Dec 3) and I got my flowers!! I am posting the proof pics that she sent me, but I have to say, in person, they are so much better...I have nothing but good things to say about Roberta. When she sent the proofs, the white flowers looked a little frayed. She actually took small scissors and cut all the frays off for me. She responded within hours of e-mailing her, responded to any voice mails, and sent such a sweet letter along with the flowers. She didn't charge me for additional e-mails, consultations, etc, and put up with my indecisiveness with the hair flowers and pomander for the flower girl. In the end, I will probably go back to her for the hair flowers, but my 2 y/o niece doesn't need flowers, although it would be cute. I urge anyone who is looking for someone to do their flowers to contact Roberta. You will not regret it. For those who missed AA's deadlines, Roberta is quick. I believe had I been in a time cruch, she could have gotten these to me faster. I basically left the final flower decision in her hands and she created beautiful pieces for me. I stare at them every chance I get!! I will try to take my own pics at some point....

I just got my flowers today. I have to say they are AMAZING!! They look and feel so real! They are even better in person than in the pictures. PLEASE consider using Roberta. She was a dream to work with and you will have NO regrets! I will post pics soon -

The photographer that I was going to bring down with me has just bailed on me, a couple days before our final payment was due. I'm now trying to figure out what I'm going to do. Thanks ladies! I will be using Brian Nejedly. Have just talked to him and e-mailed but he is really nice. A few girls here have used him. Yeah, its hard! We had a bunch of people book and now its kinda slowed down, but I think our bookings are going to pick back up again after the holidays. Thats why our final RSVP is Feb 1 (so we can get the numbers for OOT bags and whatnot)

Here are mine. I ordered from PlumeriasWeddingFlowerBoutique They contain real/natural touch pink and orange roses, pink plumeria and stephinotis. Can't wait to get them!! My Bouquet and MOH My bouquet, MOH, 3 BMs and 2 Mom's -
Thanks everyone! I really love them too. I wanted something a little more unique but didn't want to do them myself! I get a little impatient. We had her print the envelopes (guests) and our return address, as well as our address on the RSVPs. I strongly recommend having someone else do that for you. I got into too many fights with my printer when printing the envelopes for the STDs

Congrats and welcome home! I can't wait to hear all about it!!

Thanks everyone! I didn't know that she was going to put the plumeria in the bouquet, but I LOVE them!! I think that I am going to keep the stephanotis just because I like the touch of white. I did notice when zooming in on the pics that the edges of the stephanotis were frayed, but she is going to go thru and fix that, and if I don't like them once I receive the bouquets, I can take them out. Overall, I love the bouquets, and Roberta was a dream to work with. I would recommend using her services in a heartbeat. I was going to go with AA but they seemed so backed up that I was worried. Roberta was willing to e-mail or talk whenever I needed her and was so quick to respond!! Please let me know if you have any other questions. -
Sorry if these are large. I was having trouble resizing this time. What do you all think of the stephinotis? Thats the only thing I was worried about. Other than that I love them and can't wait to get them. Ordered from PlumeriasWeddingFlowerBoutique Mine and MOH Mine, MOH, BM, and Mom's

Yeah, I think that they have stopped booking wedding receptions at Seagrape when there is a beach party...although I would think that they could make more money off the receptions during the weekend and move the beach party to a weekday. But I guess they probably have the most business on the weekends...

We sent out STD's way back and my friends were quick to respond, but the family - not so much! Just sent out the invites for my May 9 wedding with RSVP NO LATER than February 1st. This gives me time to get all my DIY stuff done, get the OOT bags finished and actually have ample time to pack and relax!! I would set your RSVP for at least Sept. 1st. Your guests should know that they are going by then and I would have hoped they would book by then!!

Is anyone else paying for their attendents hair? Has anyone recently had their makeup done? If so how did it look? I may just bring my own makeup and brushes and have them do my makeup, but wondering if thats even worth it?

98 cent beach mats
drbrainfreeze replied to kblocker's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
I think all the stores should be linked. I didn't look at the sticker price on mine, but when they checked the price at 2 stores, they came up as .98 -
I posted this on the other thread, but I am going to try to get back to the store by work after work to grab the rest. If I do I will let you all know.... I also posted to check the mats as a few that I bought were defective (rips, handles detatched). They are also smelly. Got in my car for a meeting about 1 hr after I picked mine up and my car smells funky now

I called back to one of the stores and they still have a bunch. I will see if I can get there tonight after work and grab the rest for whoever needs them.... On a side note - check the mats!! We got a few and when we opened them, some were ripped (the bamboo) and some had detatched handles. We had to return a few of the defectives. -

I just got my 32 ;-)...anyone living in the Charlotte NC area, I found a crapload at the South Bldv location and I sold the University location out. I wouldn't be surprised if the other locations had a bunch. I will let you know that they are fairly heavy once you get a bunch....
