Ok, the newest RMB brides and dates have been submited to a mod to update this thread...so we should see the new ones soon. They are also checking with Tammy one getting this thread sticky just like the ROR thread. Looks like we are upto 14 known RMB brides on this board. I search and tried to find everyone I could...so hopefully I didn't miss anyone.

Trina! I recognize you as the other RMB bride from TK. If you check out the Jamaica forum here you will find a few other RMB brides. We might be up to a dozen now. I kinda feel like the RMB cheerleader around here ...so if there is any RMB info you want let me know I might already have it.

Do you have the booking confirmation voucher? (was sent to me by e-mail). If so then you should have all you need for now. About week after the resort opened I e-mailed Keneika to make sure she had my confirmation info. She did and everything was fine. If it puts your mind at ease, you could shoot her a quick e-mail as well.

The law in Jamaica actually states 24 hours...not 2 days. The Riu is the one imposing the 2nd day. I actually arrive on the 26th and am getting married on the 28th. They had no problem booking the time even though I don't really follow the 2 day Riu rule. I would of had to wait until the 2nd if I hadn't gotten the 28th...so I was really happy when I was able to book the day I wanted. If you have your confirmation, you should be good to go. I might be mistaken, but I think that they take so long getting your confirmation back to you because they are making sure the Judge is available to do the ceremony. As for stuff at the ROR...I think they are just booking the disco and reception room ealry. I'm pretty sure they don't do things like flowers too far in advance. You can always e-mail Keneika before your TA gets back if you think you want to reserve the disco early.

I am looking for really nice faux flowers to make my hair flowers with. I think I am looking for something along the lines of a Real Touch, but I haven't seen one of them in person yet...so I'm open to suggestions. I went to Joanns and didn't think the flowers they had were nice enough. Some one suggested Hobby Lobby...but we don't have one of those near me in Seattle. Anyone know where to get really nice fake flowers? I wanted to make a few in different colors to see what I like best with the dress. It doesn't matter if it is an online or brick and mortar...both work for me.

Hey guys - the mods changed things and I can no longer edit the original post. I am waiting to hear back from them on if I can get permission to keep moding just this thread...so if you e-mailed me or posted to be added to this thread...I am working on it. I am so sorry. Is this new? I started an RMB dates thread...kust like the ROR one that is stickyed on the Jamaica forum and had been able to add the new girls more than 60 later. It was nice to have all the info on the 1st post and be ableto edit it. Is there some way to make it so I can edit just that post? Also can we sticky the RMB one just like the ROR one? Thanks, Kris

Did she say if that the free set up or an upgraded one? I think that has to be an upgraded one (when compared to ROR ones)

We are eloping, so it's just the 2 of us. I'm not sure what we are planning to do after the ceremony...I hadn't really thought about it yet. Our wedding is pretty early, so we have all day. Maybe I should ask Joel what he thinks. I feel like we should do something special. Anyone have any ideas?

Ok, I started the RMB dates thread. I added who I could find to it already...so if I have the info incorrect or you want to add the dates you'll be there...just add to the thread.

Ladies, I've been thinking about starting an RMB dates thread, just liek the one they have for ROR...should we do it. I think there are enought of us now that it would be useful to us to help us share info. Should I do it? I'd be happy to keep it updated.

OMG. Thank you so much for those pics!! Now all I have to do is choose. I'm leaning twords the beach one...as I pictured the wedding on the beach, but the plaza one is cute too!

I think I found a pic of the beach gazebo. It's just the top, so I'm not 100% sure...but that might be it.

Also, reviews should be coming soon. According to the TA forums it takes about a week for reviews submited to be posted on the website...so they should be coming soon. Just remember to take the reviews with a grain of salt. It just opened and during a hurricane no less.

I sent them an e-mail back in April and only got a form letter response about the resort. It didn't even have an opening date on it. I would think you might have a better chance at getting more info now, but I didn't have much luck.
