  3. YARI- I told her about Soolip and she said she was going to do it but she decided to do appointments instead. bummer. but if your considering them, I loved them... you can order a sample and they send it to you for 10 days. I think its about 30 dollars or so to rent it.

Its really great, plus its so cute, they can wear it several times again.
  5. We're not having one. The whole reason we are doing a Destination wedding is to keep it low key. The last thing i want to do is have a another party when we get back.
  6. OK i'm back here they are! I really love them, i want to buy one for myself! I think i'm gonna go with the rosewater or the blue and the shorter cut.
  7. Hi Lanelle! welcome to the forum! I have been spending quite a bit of time learning about everything and trying to figure out the most reasonable ways to have this wedding, while also still making it exactly what we want. Pretty much all the free time i have is going to planning, but I'm also enjoying doing it... The WC i have been in contact with is really great and very helpful. I spoke with a few different ones before really finding one that I felt would work well with us. I will post pictures and info as soon as i get back from the site visit. There is SOOOO much information on this site. It's helpful if you check out the reviews people have written and pictures as well. I hope that helps!!
  8. I posted this in a thread but i wanted to share what dress i'm gonna go with. I just have to decide on the color http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/i...1/IMG_0036.jpghttp://i262.photobucket.com/albums/i...1/IMG_0030.jpg

    Hello!

Hi welcome to the forum! We're thinking about the Esperanza for our wedding as well in November. We're going for a site visit on April 14. Flowers are pretty expensive! and that room is just ugly! in the pictures, have you seen it in person? That is a big reason why i need to go look at it. we have some other places in mind as well that we are also going to look at while were there. I will share pictures when i get back!

I know a really great company and have shot weddings there so I know a bit about the location if you have any questions. I'm looking toward doing cream/champagne colored BM dresses. Today I may see something that stands out. we'll see. I have a WC. thanks though!
  11. I guess i could have posted this in the Registry thread, but its more of a VENT, than anything. I just wanted to forwarn everyone, incase you didn't know that a lot of China (the kind that most people feel they have to order for thier wedding) is made with Animal bones - animal bone ash to be exact and called "Bone China." Which is gross, and apparently the most expensive and saught after. they make several different kinds now, porcelain, earthware and stoneware, which dont have animal bones in it. think twice before ordering bone china.
  12. I actually have that exact straw bag, and I LOVE it. I have had it for years and i use it every summer. so, i choose that one because its great!
  13. I know! it was a short show. It was the kick off to her tour and she only played 5 songs! literally for 45 minutes! but it was still fun, it was nice to see a legendary act
  14. Just got back from her show. wow! she was amazing! and she looks incrediable-she has to be in her late 60s?? Did you know that whitney houstin's "I will always love you" was orginally by her? I didn't and she sang that song tonight and it was so great! and she sang 9-5! I loved it. She is going on tour, go see her if you can, its well worth it!
