  1. I like the first dress a lil better also, but I don't think there is anything wrong with 2 dresses! I would love to do that myself! I would definitely wear #1 to the ceremony and *just a thought* you could shorten dress #2 to just below the kneecap for a flirty party dress after dinner when the dancing starts. If you had 2 dresses, you could also do some TTD photos with dress #1 - if you are into that sort of thing. I love those pics!
  2. I like option 2 also, persimmon and blue look beautiful together! Keep googling girl!
  3. They are all beautiful!! I voted BCBG. It's so flowy and breezy looking, very romantic!
  4. I love this question. I am another that loves my last name, but the man is very old fashioned, and would like me to change it. My alternative - maybe naming my first kid my maiden name, it would work for either a boy or girl...

I did not send STD's since it's such a short engagement. How early should I send invites? We are sending them as a formality since we want to invite some people that won't be able to come, like grandparents. 3. Is it tacky to put rsvp to an e-mail address on the invite? I do not want to include rsvp cards, since I will pretty much already know who is coming. Thanks! Hello! 1. Beautiful invite! I think it's ultra classy and sophisticaed. The colours/style of invite don't always have to prefectly match the destination in my opinion. It looks like a great mix of colour to me and the subtle punch of coral is nice for a beach wedding. 2. Can't help you there, but I look forward to others' responses/ 3. Email is fine. I find it more convenient to be honest because I never seem to mail those reply cards back! Looks great! I'd stick with it!
  6. Here is a link to a great stationary website for all you DIY'ers! I have ordered from them several times for friends' weddings' stationary (Metallic paper, envelopes, pocketfolds etc). The service is great and they ship really quick! Dress up blank wedding invitations with specialty envelopes from CutCardStock.com
  7. Hi Ladies, Anyone in Canada catch the 6:00 news tonight? They had a story about couples who have destination weddings, then come home and realize that there marriage wasnt legal. It happened to a couple I know, but I think they just forgot to do the paperwork before they left. Anyone else heard of this happening?
  8. Hi AC! I was thinking of the RIU also, until I read Kacengg's review (See link in previous post). Her experience made me change my mind!
  9. Thanks for the warm welcome Ladies! YARI - is that your ring in your Avi?! BEAUTIFUL!!!
  10. Hi Mauraw - Did the priest say that he would marry you in the church even though you arent a member of the parish? I am also interested in a Catholic ceremony in Cabo San Lucas...but totally new to all this planning stuff! Thanks
  11. Hi Ladies, I am soo glad that I found this forum! I am looking to get married Feb 21st 2009 (10 year anniversary date), and I think that we have decided on Cabo San Lucas. Initially I was thinking the Riu might be nice but after reading some posts her I think I will look into Dreams instead. Thanks for all of the helpful info so far!
