    Marnie I am getting married April 22 2009 and I am having a poolside reception. We are having dinner by the pool too. What I can tell you is that Chandlyn has emailed me saying they set up white round tables (that seat . They set up flood lights and small lights. You can have a dj there and they will set up a dance floor, they also set up a full bar with a bartender. Anymore questions let me know

    Hey guys I am just wondering if everyone could post a picture of what the groom is wearing I am looking for ideas, plus I see some wore a coat.. is it not too hot for a coat?? Thanks

    Yah Chandlyn has been great in getting back to me and answering my questions. She does not have any pictures of the set up of the poolside reception .

    Hi! You can have a poolside reception, I have been emailing Chandlyn about this option. It is set up around the Infinity pool, dinner cannot start til 630. It is a buffet meal. I have not been able to see any pictures of the set up though. the cost is $50.00 pp, then you have to rent a dj etc if you want one! hope this helps!

    Hey I was quoted $50.00 per person, just like the beach reception, as you said included a BBQ dinner, open bar, and set up! then we were going to hire DJ and do dancing and everything there in one place!

    Thanks ladies... my wedding is Apirl 22 2009, so far 33 people have booked, Chandlyn said you need 20 minimum to do it, so we have that, and I know it is round tables as Chandlyn emailed me the details but I would just like to see it set up to get an idea of what it looks like, would appreciate any help I can get! Thanks

    Hey Ladies, I have been trying to see a picture of the poolside reception but no one seems to have one, so if anyone is going to Jamaica soon, and see the set up could they please take a picture for me. It is always around the quiet (infinity) pool. Thank you so much! Jill

    Hey We ran in to the same problem, sunquest told us we had 7 days for the price guarentee.. but then I found out Sunquest change their policy for group rates/weddings and they will hold the price for one month, so I asked our travel agent to email sunquest and they held it for one month. Then once that month is up you can ask for an extension. We have done this twice and still have the guarenteed price and we booked back in March! try that! Jill

    Hey guys, I was looking at some pictures and it looks like there is a long walk down to the beach wedding gazebo (at ROR) and I assume your groom can see you making this walk?? I wanted him to not be able to see me until I am walking down the asle but I guess that cant happen eh?? Thanks

    Hi!! Someone posted the BBQ menu, now it says 6 different kinds of meat, do they do all this meat and serve it buffet style?? You dont have to pick just one or two types of meat right?? Thanks for posting the menu, I am interested in the poolside reception and the menu looks great!

    Hey guys, Just a quick question . To have a private reception you have to pay $1000. for 4 hours, but if you choose the beach or poolside it is $50.00 per person is this on top of the 50 per person?? Thanks Jill

    Did you get sick and tired of the sand, dancing on the sand was not hard Seems really nice but worried about all the sand!!
