Here are all the pictures below... I used cover paper that you can get at Michaels. I found it a bit cheaper through a wholesale paper company but it is identical to the sparkly stuff they sell at Michaels. Laser printers will not work for metallic like paper! I tried 3! I printed that on a Lexmark 2500 all in one which feeds from the top and comes out the front. This is a must! anything that has to make a sharp turn won't work. I got that printer at Wal-Mart for about $50 I think. The inside sheets are HP brochure paper. Kinda slick and about 28 lb I think. No see through at all. Those I printed on a color laser printer but an inkjet would have done them too. I used Word to print the envelopes, again must be on a printer that feeds from the top and comes out the front or you will have marks on the envelope. I stamped the back and used a pretty stamp. Any other questions please ask. I cannot take credit for all of this as I learned and borrowed from others on here!

Can you add me to the list? Minde 10-5-08 Dreams cabo Also, would it be possible to update the one on pg 1 with the whole list. I can't find the current list in the long 39 pages of posts. Ok, I didn't look that hard but it would great if they were updated on the first page. I want to see who else is getting married that day or week before and after.

have they been sold yet? are they still in the wrap?

Has anyone or is anyone using vase lights? I found these base disc thingies that go under a vase and light it up that are called E-luminator by acolyte that are pretty cool. Anyone used them or have any to sell?

I printed the inside pages on a color laser printer and the outside cover on an inkjet. I tried three color lasers and none would work with the shiny slick blue paper. So I had to buy an inkjet that had paper that loaded from the top and came down. My inkjet pulls from the front and turns and comes out the front. That doesn't work with most cardstock because it is too thick to make the turn. Then I just used blue staples to keep them together. Minde

So I sent out my Passport STDs for Mexico. I sent out some stds to people I knew would not come to Mexico. In fact, most of the people I sent them to won't be there but felt like I needed to. One of my friends said she got my Un-vitation. I had to ask her what that meant. I remembered the Seinfeld episode after she brought it up about how Elaine got an invite to a wedding in India that they really didn't want her to go to. So of course she goes. Here is the link it is so funny YouTube - The Betrayal - re-reversed part 1 and YouTube - The Betrayal - re-reversed part 2 So my question is, do you still send invites to people you know won't be able to come? I thought it would be rude to not send them one. And do you still send them to people you don't want to go really? How did you all do it? How funny is it that someone actually brought up this video...it is true. Minde

It is cheaper for a 1 oz custom stamp on Zazzle but about the same price for a 2 oz stamp. I wasn't sure if I wanted a custom stamp on my std passport invites. I thought it might be a little much (Plus my mom owns a Mail & More store and had a hundred of them already laying around anyway) But I might consider Zazzle for my message in a bottle.

I just wanted to share that they have a couple really cute stamps at usps.com. Since the love and heart stamps aren't going to be out until sometime in June I had to start looking at other stamps. The Hagatna Bay stamp and the St. John USVI stamps are 90 and 94 cents each respectively but very very cool. I am using the hagatna on my passport stds and they will look great! They have palm trees on them (Even though it is twice as much postage as I need I think it will be worth it for those!!) Hopefully the image will show on here.

Unlike a bunch of you, it seems, I am having a very small wedding in Mexico with probably only parents there. Then we are coming back and having a big reception. I am looking for example wording for the reception only invites. I am considering the passport or boarding pass for the save the date. I may be surprised but I don't think I will have guests in Mexico. Then I want to send invites to the reception out. Been considering message in a bottle for that. I really want to be unique with my invites. (I mean from the rest of the world, not from you guys!) Anyone have any invite wording for this they could share? Thanks, Minde
