Congrats! Beautiful wedding! Where did you get the BM dresses? I am looking for something that color.

I had a friend who got married at Riu Palace and the pics were beautiful She said it was easy, the wedding planner was great and it all went smoothly. There are girls on here who went to Barcelo and loved it as well- they have great beaches but it is further south. It probably depends on how much you want to spend and where you want to be. Good luck! Either way, it will be great!

Someone said you can get a lot of that stuff when you are down there at Walmart so you don't have to carry it and pay the extra bag $25 fee. Sunscreen and snacks are fun for the guests.

Try Hanky Panky thongs. They are comfy and lacy and sexy. They are one size and seriously fit someone who is a size 2 or a size 12 (not sure how!). The low rise are too low for me though. You can find them at Nordstrom's Rack on sale.

The advantage of wearing a shoe like Danskos is they have a stiffer sole so when you are on your feet all day, your foot doesn't have to work as hard. They have minimal arch support. Birkenstocks have a built in arch support and good support. Crocs are comfortable but they are made of a softer material and breakdown easier than a stiffer shoe so you have to replace them more often. The best thing to do is try shoes on at the end of the day when your feet are more swollen and tired and see what feels best to you. Shoes will not "break in" and get more comfortable after you wear them so make sure you like them in the store. Send me a PM if you have any other questions (I'm a podiatrist).

Any news on when the renovations will be finished? We are still in the process of picking a resort. It seems as though the Dreams resorts have the wedding process perfected according to previous brides. Hopefully, they will have it all figured out by your wedding in May.
