My FI and I have a timeshare that we use to take yearly vacations with. This year we have plans to go to Cancun for a week in September. The room for the resort is already paid for the week. I told him yesterday that I think we should purchase our tickets now since the airfare is increasing. He said that he would research the prices, he then emailed me and said that the flights were too expensive. He told me to cancel the trip and we can take the money that would spend in Cancun and save it for our wedding. I didn't like that idea because I'm so excited about going to Cancun, especially for my birthday. Am I being selfish and spoiled or is he right?
