    Ann, I like the way you plan on calculating the weight loss. That's what I was thinking as well. As for the pics, I'm not that concerned about them. Now if someone is losing 5 pounds a week and not sending pics, then we have a problem! I also like the idea of a little icon or something for that week's winner. I think we can use all the motivation we can get!

    FI and I walked by one of those cheap jewelry stores in the malls the other day. I asked him if he wanted to go in there so we could make all of their stuff look bad! I think he loves it when I brag about/show off my ring.

    I told my mom that I was tired of everyone pounding me with questions and being so negative (including her). The next day she called me back and said she hadn't realized she'd been doing that and that she's going to be positive for me. We're not confrontational at all, but just speaking up a little really helped.

    I vote for the morning as well. Just get it over with. Is there anyone you could buddy up with? I find when I know I'm meeting someone at the gym, I have to go or I'll be standing them up.

    I wouldn't send out invitations to everyone for my DW that I am inviting to my AHR. I'd go broke! I know I'm in the minority with this one, but I'm not sending out STDs. I'm sending out my invites really early (like 10 months before my wedding) because there are very few direct flights to St Lucia so things need to be booked far in advance. I have my "A" listers who are all aware of when the wedding will be happening and I plan to send an invitation to every one of them. Even if they've already said they can't make it, they're close to me so I want them to at least receive an invitation.

    I like the 150, 40, and 20 as well. I definitely think there needs to be a big prize for first, otherwise the motivation isn't there. Well, losing weight is the motivation, but a nice cash prize doesn't hurt either!

    Does anyone have a place that they love to go because the lighting makes their ring really sparkle? They just re-did the elevators at work and the lights in there make my ring blind my co-workers! I love it!

    I saw some of these on eBay and they have underwire and a bunch of different styles. Just thoughts I'd throw that in there.
