  1. I wonder why they make it so complicated. I guess I'll give it a shot.
  2. Wow, I can't believe your big day is almost here!
  3. My colors are pink and green too! Must be a popular choice. Do the bags fold up at all? I'm just wondering if they'll be difficult to transport.
  4. We're looking at flying from St. Lucia to Punta Cana with a layover in San Juan. Will we have to go through customs in both San Juan and Punta Cana? Thanks in advance.
  5. Rachel, you always crack me up! Sorry you're in pain Jen.
  6. Thank you Christine. My weights are on the way to you right now.
  7. That's exactly where I'm finding the problem. It's only letting me change it 90 degrees to the right or left. I can't go upside down. Maybe there's a way to rotate the text box. Grrr, so frustrating.
  8. Does anyone how, or your even can, to write upside in Microsoft Word? I know how to change the text direction to go sideways, but not upside down. Any help would be appreciated!
  9. If anyone had trouble getting to my donation page today, it was re-routing to the basic homepage for some reason. It should be fixed now. Thank you everyone again!
  10. I knew it was only a matter of time till American jumped on the 2nd bag bandwagon. So happy this doesn't apply to me!
  11. I was asked to bump this today, so here we go...
  12. I'm on my way to Dunkin Donuts. Gotta love free stuff!!!
  13. I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. What a difficult thing to deal with. Please let us know if we can do anything for you and know that we are hear to listen.
  14. You guys have been so wonderful! I'm overwhelmed! I can't believe I have $90 supporting my walk! Thank you thank you thank you! Sgt. Pepperette, of course you can walk in honor of Alice. She'd be thrilled! If you get any pictures of the t-shirt or of you wearing it, I'd love to see it. Also, if anyone knows a young woman who could benefit from Alice's foundation, please let her know about the organization. I think she's doing such a wonderful thing and I want as many women to get the help and support they need as possible. Thanks again!
  15. Wow, I love this idea. Abbie, I'm a fan of that one too, especially since my colors are pink and green.
  16. I'm down 2.2 this week! Why are people upset with 1.5 and 2 pounds? That's a great weight loss for one week! You should be celebrating!!!
  17. Tomorrow (May 15th) is free iced coffee day at Dunkin Donuts! From 10am-10pm, you can stop in for a free 16oz (small) iced coffee. The whole country is going to have a serious caffeine buzz!
  18. Oh, thank you Jenny!!! You've made me so happy! I will be more than happy to bump this post on Thursday. Thank you both.
  19. Hi everyone. I've posted on here before that FI's cousin, Alice, has been diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 31. She has recently undergone a double masectomy and reconstructive surgery, and is now on some pretty intense doses of chemo. On June 7th, FI, FMIL, and I will be heading down to Washington DC to participate in the Susan G Komen National Race for the Cure. I will be on Alice's sister's team, My Vision, named after the foundation Alice has created for other young women with breast cancer. Here's her website: Home I know that money is tight for many people right now, but I am hoping that a few people will be interested in sponsoring me for the walk. I would be so happy if just one person on BDW made a donation. Here is my donation page: https://www.kintera.org/faf/donorReg...upId=220013332 Thank you for taking the time to read this. And please keep Alice in your thougths and prayers during this difficult time for her.
  20. I thought of Sandals in St. Lucia too. But then again, of course I'm partial St. Lucia (otherwise I wouldn't be getting married there)! If Sandals doesn't work for you, there's also Rendevous and the BodyHoliday at LeSport (if you're more active) which are both adults only as well, except in the summer LeSport allows older children I think. I would definitely recommend talking to Jennifer if you're thinking about Sandals. She knows her stuff. I have done a good amount of research on the island, so I would be more than happy to share what I know. One last thing...do whatever you want to do. Don't let others influence you. Weddings have a funny way of making people crazy...and I'm not just talking about the bride and groom.
  21. Thanks Denise, I just PMed you. I'll see if I have the receipt for the other one. My place looks like a war zone right now because FI and I just bought a condo (way sooner than we had anticipated), so I'm frantically trying to clear out my place so I can sell or rent it. Too much going on at once!
  22. I'll probably need it starting in June. I want to get these out in July.
  23. Oh, I would be fuming too. The birthday thing is ridiculous. My brother is spending his birthday traveling to St. Lucia, but he has not complained at all. To show our appreciation, we're going to have a birthday cake for him at our welcome dinner. Do they think you would want the kid's birthday to be ignored? Please, you're not heartless! So stupid.
