We can only fit 40 guests on the villa's deck, so that's the max. We'll probably have 30.

From the Miss Bliss days? I didn't really like SBTB until they hit high school, but I don't remember that episode. I personally liked when the girls forms the singing group "Hot Sundae."

I think they're a bit pricey and have maybe one item from them. It does seem to sell well though. I think you would do fine.

I have Jeweler's Mutual as well. They were definitely more reasonable than going through my homeowner's policy.

The wedding date is pretty set in stone. At least I still have a lot of time. The timing of it just sucked. I will definitely ask you guys for help if I start to really struggle with finding something. You guys rock!

As many of you know, I'm having my reception at a villa and not doing the whole AI thing. So that leaves our choice of restaurants to cater the event pretty wide open. The problem is, very few have websites in St. Lucia, so it's a pain to get menus and price quotes. FI and I found the perfect place in our price range. The type of food is exactly what we want. Last night, we went through and picked out our whole reception menu and did not argue over a single dish. Today, I was about to e-mail our menu to the chef when he e-mailed me first. He just received confirmation of a wedding going on at the resort the restaurant is at on our day and they can only do one event per day. So our perfect restaurant just disappeared. Now I have to start over again. The other restaurants I have received menus from I wasn't crazy about and it's hard to find the contact info for some other ones. I do have a wedding coordinator at the villa, so I guess I'll have to start asking her for the info, but I liking researching this stuff myself. I wish I had just e-mailed the chef last night.

I agree with Rachel. Unless you've witnessed it, you can't say anything. I will say though, that if you know for a fact he is messing around, I would tell her. Many will probably disagree with me, but being in a situation where an ex-boyfriend was cheating on me, I would've been upset with my friend had she not told me.

That had to be so scary. I can't imagine floating in the ocean when it's dark.

We're going completely informal. Chris goes by his middle name (first name is Anthony) and my legal name is Kristin, but I always go by Kristy. Since we didn't want peolpe wondering who Kristin and Anthony were, we canned the formal writing. It's so much easier! I say just be consistent.

I'm not getting married in the USVI, but I'm doing the same format in St. Lucia. You'll love the freedom it gives you to plan that the all-inclusives don't. Good luck with planning and congratulations!
