  1. What do you guys think of these? GLOSSY PEEP TOE HIGH WEDGE DRESS SHOE PINK PATENT 6 - eBay (item 150296789133 end time Apr-18-09 13:14:41 PDT)

My first fitting is on Tuesday! This could be a problem. I guess I'll have to do some serious shopping this weekend. Wish me luck ladies!
  3. Aw, I miss all you guys. I joined the forum before you were all married so I feel more connected with you than the newer girls. I miss seeing Rachel and Maura and Glenda around too. I was starting to think that marriage just took people away! I'm loving this thread Erin and I will be able to post on it without breaking the rules in just over 2 months!
  4. I saw those on eBay and would've bought them if the gold was silver. The gold ruined it for me. I wonder if they make them with silver?

They may look a little weird on the shoes, but far away I didn't really notice them on a pair of shoes I tried them with. Definately noticed a difference in the way I walked on the grass too! (wet grass I might add. I put one on one shoe and left the other one without) The Solemates Hmmm, that's interesting. I wonder if that will solve my problem. There's something about these shoes that I love, and if that thing works, I could get them! And now I know I would dye them pink. FLASH 3 1/2" HEEL - DyeableShoeStore.com I'm still looking because I think a wedge would be the ideal thing to wear, but this may be a great back-up plan. You girls rock!
  6. I think some of the ones you guys posted I would like better if they were dyed. Yes, it is decided, I will have hot pink shoes.
  7. I think I'm being too picky because I know all of these shoes are nice, but for some reason they're not working for me. Maybe looking at all the white shoes has made me realize that I really want hot pink. You know what the problem is? I'm not a big fan of wedges! I really want a sexy stiletto, but my reception is on a deck and I'm so afraid of getting my heel stuck in between the boards. Is this stupid? Am I worrying over nothing? I'm just a wee bit clumsy, so I could see this happening to me. Oh, another thing that is ruining a lot of shoes for me in the crystals. I like them, but most are set in silver and the ones on my dress are clear, so they don't match. Yeah, definitely being too picky.
  8. Aw, you're so sweet Desiree. I have seen both of them. The first pair I think the bottom makes them look casual. The second I was in LOVE with, but then I saw them at the bridal shop and they were a bit of a let down. I was so disappointed because I thought I was going to get them.
  9. that are for sale right now and I can't seem to find any that I like. My first fitting is on Tuesday, how can I not have shoes or at least know the heel height?! I want a formal wedge in white or hot pink, but there are so few out there. I've seen some that are OK, but not what I want for my wedding shoes. Please help me!
  10. Oh no, Jacqueline's losing her mind!
  11. I'm only planning on bringing down one big bag of wedding stuff, mostly for the OOT bags. My dad is including it in his checked luggage. I'm not shipping anything. I'm just not all that particular about things. My WC has given me decent prices on stuff down there, so that works for me.
  12. Congrats on your wedding! It's so nice to FINALLY have a review on here for St. Lucia. Was that last picture taken at Jade Mountain? This gets me super-psyched for my wedding. And Casey, you are correct... You MUST go there. It's just so beautiful.
  13. I would like to nominate Yamille for B2B and Betsy for Mrs.
  14. My brother went to a wedding where it was perfectly fine to wear a "Wrestling or Die" t-shirt. Enough said!
  15. We're having a pig roast and are budgeting $5000. It looks like we're going to stay right around that number (currently it's under that, but I know those little costs will creep up).

It was like all I did was talk on here about what I was doing and how excited I was and then after I posted my pics and review I was like....ok now what?? But luckily I found my way back and have been on here tons lately LOL!! And I feel so lucky to have made so many friends on here too! I noticed you had disappeared for awhile. I'm super happy that you're back!
  17. Oh no, the sand ceremony. I totally forgot about getting the stuff for that. We're doing a sand and shell ceremony, so I need to figure out what will work for that. I think I need to make a new list of things to do because I'm missing a lot of stuff. The good news is that I ordered the ringbearer outfit andm y SIL is making the flowergirl basket. At least I can check those two things off!
  18. I would wait on flights. I booked as soon as I could and spent more than the ones who just booked within the last couple of weeks. That being said though, you're going during peak season and I'm not, so that may be affecting the prices. Also, be sure to check into group or wedding discounts. I'm definitely getting excited, but I feel like I have a million things to do. I'm a bride without a veil, shoes, garter, and jewelry! How did that happen?! Ugh, my SIL just e-mailed saying that they might be bringing my niece. She'll be 7 months old in May and of course I want her there, but adding an infant now causes more work than they think! Grrr...
  19. Hey girls. First, thank you Trini bride for the florist tip! Beachbride, some restaurants to look into are Jacques (where must of us are having our dinner), The Edge, The Coal Pot, and 1461. There are tons of good restaurants on the island. I do not have experience with either resort, but I think Rex would be a good choice because I think there are three different ones to choose from. Then you can go between each of them whenever you want. I apologize if I am wrong in saying this. My wedding is 10 weeks from tomorrow! Eek!
  20. Great job Deanna! Let's finish strong girls. We only have a few weeks left!
  21. Ugh, I'm definitely hitting a freak out point. Still no veil, jewelry, shoes, flowergirl basket, ringbearer outfit, and I don't even know what else. I think I've been so focused on everything involving my guests that I have forgotten to focus on what I need. This should be an interesting 2 months!
