I'm finally in this club! Woo hoo! Kelly, my fingers are crossed for you, that's so exciting! I can honestly say that I am so over wedding planning and have done absolutely nothing since we've gotten home for our AHR this Saturday. It'll all come together. Part of me wishes I had a little more planning time for it, but I know I'll be happy in the end that we did it right away. Since I was like the last-standing virgin bride, none of my friends want to hear about the wedding. They just say, so how was the sex? Hey, maybe when people start with the baby questions (we don't want kids), I'll just tell them that I'm still learning. I absolutely hate how nosy people are with that.

I'm late to this (for obvious reasons!) but I used the Flower Shack and was SO happy. Deirdre is great to work with and she gave me exactly what I wanted. I got tons of compliments on my bouquet which was all ginger lilies. For those having their reception at Jacques, everything was great except for the bathroom. It's a bit dingy. Just wanted to give a heads up because I was not expecting that at all. I was very happy with the restaurant though and Cathy is so sweet and easy to work with. Oh, and I saw where Coco Palm is located. You will not be disappointed. You can walk to everything. Go to The Edge for dinner one night. AMAZING! I'll have my review up next week. It'll be 2-3 months until I get all the pics. I can't wait!! Hopefully my guests will actually upload some pics to Shutterfly. My AHR is on Saturday, so I'll get on the review next week.

I made the mistake of figuring out how many hours until I leave my hours. 67 hours?! Really? I haven't even started packing!

So I got all my waxing done yesterday. Here's the feedback... Brazilian wax: love it! I had them use the blue wax all over because the gold one made me break out the last time (and it hurts more). Underarms: great! I was told this would really hurt, but it didn't bother me at all. This was my least favorite place to let grow, but the results are great. Eyebrows and upper lip: par for the course. I'm happy with it. Legs: not overly thrilled. I probably won't do this again. My hair is really blonde, so it makes it difficult to see. Sometimes she would wax it and the hair just wouldn't come out. I have little hairs all over my legs which means I'll still have to shave. So much for the no shaving on the honeymoon plan. At least I'm not crazy hair woman anymore!

I have the weird blotchy sunburn issue as well, but mostly on my legs. I am really against going to a tanning booth and don't want to go the fake tan route. I was stumped as well. Then the more I thought about it, all that is going to show for the wedding pictures is my shoulders, arms, and face. So I while I will definitely use sunscreen all over, I will really concentrate on the areas that will be seen.

I walked into my cubicle today to find this! Fun fun! It's my last day at work before I leave for the wedding. In case you're wondering about the toys and Santa hat, I run the toy shop for The Salvation Army

Packing is my biggest stress point as well. I'm so afraid I'm going to forget something major. I'm trying to figure out the best way to organize it. I guess I had better get on it since I leave in 4 days!!!! Today is my last day of work, then off to the spa to get some serious waxing done.

While I like #1 better, I voted for #2 because it's a different. I feel like I've seen the first one a million times (or maybe that's me daydreaming about being on the beach next week?!)
