I'm in Houston and the hurricane is coming this way. We are going to ride out the storm and think we are as ready as can be. We are far away from the shore where I think we will be ok but I am still a bit worried. We also have friends and family coming over from areas around here that were forced to evacuate. Hope all works out ok.

I did it too and loooove it....so does FI! They say you always have to come back for treatments and it's true but you go less frequently. It feels super clean when it's all gone! I only have to shave once every month or 6 weeks.

Don't worry Kacie....it all sounds strange to me too when people haven't heard of it. I also live in the south, TX to be exact and people won't stop bugging me about bridal pictures. I think they are a great idea because it gives you a chance to play with your hair and make up prior to the big day to make sure you like it. You also get to pick good pictures of you for display. HOWEVER, I am not getting them done cause I am just way too lazy to do this. Thinking of having to get all dressed up gives me a headache. Everywhere I go though people keep asking me when I am going to get them done.

Ok so I finally went to get my extentions done and I really do like them. They really do look natural. I found a place here in Houston that does them for $100 and refills are $35 to $50. The lady had two styles of lashes: one more natural and a more dramatic style. I stuck with the natural ones but will probably try the dramatic next to see the difference. Here is a picture of the lashes. My right eye has extentions and my left doesn't. The black line above my eye is left over eyeliner that the lady didn't completly remove. I will test these and see how long they stay on to determine if I will get them for wedding. One more thing....for those of you that have gotten them done or plan to I know some places charge you for removing them but don't pay. The lady that put them on said if you want to get them removed apply vaseline on your lashes overnight and take a hot steaming shower the next day and wash your face and they will fall out.

I do have a small wedding party of 3 girls but I have 2 other girlfriends that I am kinda close with. They have helped me wiht as much stuff for the wedding as my real BMs so I called them my EXTENDED Bridesmaids and they love it!
