  4. I posted this on the last thread but I will update you. I also have a tattoo and I use a product called DERMABLEND. They sell it at Cosmetics, Fragrances, and Beauty Gifts at Ulta.com. If you have an ulta store close to you swing by and take a look at the color that best goes with your skin. I use this product just about every weekend when I go out so I know it works. It costs $18 a bottle.
  5. Wow! They look amazing. I have to say I'm a little jealous in a good way. I'm going to have to get some tips from you becuase now that we are waaaay over budget I'm going to have to be a DIY queen.

I would be interested in this treatment as lasering is soo painful. Thanks Pook2b I don't think the treatment has a specific name per say but it is conducted by a one of those specialist that do permanent make up. I know it sounds weird how someone who does permanent make up (or tattoos) also removes them. The procedure involves using an actual tattoo machine with NO INK, to slightly break the top layer of skin. Then glycolin acid is placed over tattoo and it penetrates through your skin and it absorbs all the ink. With a little dumbing cream the procedure is basically painless. I read magazines while getting the treatment done. On a scale from 1-10 the pain is a 2...and I'm a baby. It takes 2 to 3 procedures to get a tattoo completly removed. The lady that is doing my removal in Texas is charging me $300 the first two treatments and if I need a third it's free. I would call around several places to see if someone knows about it. Laser clinics may even know about the procedure. I hope this helps.
  7. Welcome. You will find tons of good info here

When we went to the resort she was at she just looked at us and said she didn't know what to do! All I have to say is "wow" for that story
  9. Do you ladies ever feel like strangling your WC cause she's not understanding that it is your special day Please share your story so I can feel normal.
  10. I am sorry if this subject is repeated in the forum. I looked and couldn't find it so here it goes... Can anyone recommend a descent beauty spa outside of a resort in Playa del Carmen? I want to get my nails, make up and hair done the day of the wedding but we are not staying at a resort so I need to find a beauty salon. Thanks!

It wont rub off! That's the stuff I was talking about. I use it just about every weekend when I go out. It truly is the best. As long as you get the right color it will work wonders.
  12. Great Idea! I think I may do one myself. I love creative people.

    Hi!

Welcome! You came to the right place. I love this forum!
  16. I love the pictures. Looks like wedding turned out perfect!!! Aaaaw....I hope mine turns out that pretty.
  17. Hey girl! I have the best product to cover up tattoos for you. It is called dermablend and they sell it at ulta cosmetics. check Cosmetics, Fragrances, and Beauty Gifts at Ulta.com. That stuff is sooo good and when it dries it does a good job at not rubbing off. They even sell this powder stuff you can apply on the top layer to prevent it from rubbing off even more. I have used that make up even with white dresses and it worked fine. It's a bit expensive but so worth it. I think about $16 or $18 a bottle. I have a tattoo I HATE on my chest and it shows with most mid low tops so I always have to cover it. I am in the middle of the process of getting it removed so by the time of the wedding it should be all gone though. I am trying this new procedure that uses glycolin to remove the tattoo and it is way more effective than laser removal....and less painful. I used laser before so I know the difference.
