I asked Yesica about a week ago how many weddings they held at the resort and she said two per day. :S maybe they changed their policy? Here is what she wrote: "How many weddings does your resort do per day? If there are more than one a day, how do you ensure that the wedding coordinator attends to everyone at the same time? Maximum two per day and I’ll be with you all time"

Welcome! picking the location was the hardest part for my FI and I. Its easier if you pick your top 5 non-negotiables for the wedding and go about it that way. Good luck with planning!

We were looking at January as our wedding date too but our TA advised that in January (other than the chilliness) it can be cloudy at times, and even rainy. So that's part of the reason we moved it up to April 1st. You might want to map the weather trends over the last few years (I know there are a few websites that allow you to do that).

Welcome to the board. My FI and I originally looked at the EDR as well, but decided to go a different route. The beach was super important to us, especially for the pics, and there are big sand bags in the water there which show up in the pictures. Our Travel Agent advised us to look at different properties because of that. Also, if you're planning to bring any children under 18 you can't there. So that's something to consider as well. Take a look at the Dreams resorts...they specialize in weddings and have an amazing reputation.
