I've never actually tried this crash diet thing, but my friend when she wants to lose weight quick doesn't eat any carbs or fat. Pretty much she eats lettuce, tomatoes, strawberries etc... but stays away from any fat like cheeses, or breads or veggies and fruit with high carb and sugar counts, and she can drop close to 10lbs in about a week. but its no fun doing it

I tried on a cathedral length mantilla with my dress and totally fell in love! Our ceremony will be in the Catholic Church in San Jose del Cabo, so I think its pretty appropriate to the setting. I haven't bought a veil yet. I'm waiting for my dress to come in first. I ordered the dress back in December'07 but it was going to take about 6-7 months to be made in the material I choose, so technically, I haven't even seen my actual final product...ugh I'm getting nervous now. I think veils are fun though, and when else will you get to wear one!?

I got a bunch of quotes from different florists in Cabo and they were all super expensive. I find alot have raised their prices drastically in the last year or so as their demand has gone up. I am actually going with Florenta Flower Design, Florenta Flower Design - Home email: [email protected] I priced out roses, since they are supposed to withstand the heat a bit better than some other flowers. The prices I was quoted were: $160 - bridal bouquet with 50 lavender roses $35 - bm bouquets with 10 cream roses in each $5 - boutonniers with one rose (lavender and cream) $130 - centerpiece for this display which is pretty elaborate: Lola's prices were anywhere from $30 - $100 cheaper than other florist I priced out for the exact same thing. I had quotes from Cabo Flowers, Flower Cart, Palmela Floreria and some others as well. She's quite easy to talk to as well, and responds to emails quickly. Hope this helps!
