What would you do if you got an email like this?
Ana replied to kate.com's topic in Chit Chat Corner!
I think they're being pretty nice actually, and are trying to be really respectful of your feelings. We have guests that are looking into other accommodations...it is definitely their vacation too so I think that's perfectly reasonable. -
I work as a business manager for a contracting company with an income of $55,000 a year and full benefits. This is my first job after graduating from university and I've been doing it for 2 years now. I'm studying to get my business analyst certificate though and make a career change this fall. Although the pay is decent, I don't really like the work environment that I'm in. I have some contacts and a mentor helping me enter the financial industry in Toronto, which is much better than the one in Vancouver. Vancouver is amazing, but the job opportunities in business related fields is limited here, and hence why the average pay is significantly lower in comparison to the cost of living. My degree in university was for Criminology so I have no business background (hence why I'm going to school also). Compared to my friends that also finished at the same time as me I would say that my salary is comparable. All of us were hired around the 50k a year mark in various cities around the country. The good thing about the industry that I'm entering into is that there is no ceiling in terms of salary. I can easily move from business analysis to project management (which is what I intend to do), and the pay is totally arbitrary depending on the industry, company, years of experience, education etc...

I'm actually even considering calling my old personal trainer to see what his rates are now. He was awesome before and really kept me motivated. If you're interested he might even want to do like a discounted rate if he's training two of us at once ugh i just want to move now i don't want to wait another 3 months. -

Welcome to the forum!! We're getting married at Dreams too! In my honest opinion if you have a small wedding party of under 60 guests and you're having the wedding at Dreams you really don't need an outside WC. Yesica is great and she does a great job on weddings. Read some of the reviews in the Cabo threads and see for yourself. Also if you don't want to spend alot of $$$$ then an outside WC is going to be expensive from my personal experience they can up-charge you anywhere from $50-100+ dollars per vendor/item for your wedding and it adds up. You should be fine with the Dreams wc's let me know if you have any more questions!

I just don't want to deal with the bloodwork there and the extra hassle. I have some pics of the church on my home computer, so I'll post them when I get back tonight We're getting married there next year too, so if you have any other questions let me know. -

Moving is always super hard. When I first moved to Vancouver I pretty much argued with Michael every day! I hated it here and missed my family and friends so I was taking out the furstration on the person closest to me. It will get better I promise! As for the working out....I'll be your workout buddy once we're neighbours!!! I need to get my beach body in time for Mexico!! (oh and we'll celebrate our workouts with cocktails after...the non fat kind..lol ) Quote: Originally Posted by amy&andy08 Edyta I do have some advice. Also, weighted squats (put a bar accross your back and touch your booty to a flat bench like you are about to sit down) and also deadlifst (take the straight bar and bend down from the waste like you are wearing a short skirt and picking up a pencil....that's how a trainer explained it to me..lol.....) Unfortunately cardio doesn't really take care of it by itself. The biggest factor is the clean eating. I cut out fake sugars, the partially hydroginated fats, and processed meals (soups/frozen dinners) and it made such a huge difference in my body. I was a splenda addict! Let me know if you need any other advice. I'm full of this useless info....or useful...depending on what you want to hear! Good luck....I hope you start feeling better and more relaxed..."this too shall pass" I'm in 100% agreement. Since I stopped eating meat, dairy etc.... my body just lost all the bloat, and slimmed right down. Also for the cellulite on the back of the legs, I had some too and 2 years ago I hired a personal trainer who kicked my butt into shape (literally). It totally went away. So it can definitely be done but being skinny isn't going to help. Cellulite is something everyone has because its the way that fat cells cling together. In some people (depending on types of foods you eat) they cling together more. Massage of the area helps too, so you might want to try doing that in the shower. But if you tone the muscle underneath the cellulite areas and also loose weight overall it will minimize those areas too. The thighs are the last area to slim down on my body, so it takes extra work. -
Yey that's awesome! I really hope that you get to be on!!! keep us posted

Wedding Gowns - You VS Model
Ana replied to ~Melissa~'s topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
After 6 months of searching I finally found a pic of a model wearing my dress!!! yey! I should also preface this by saying that I haven't seen or tried on the dress in my actual size or material that I ordered (my appointment is set for August 2nd when I finally fly back to Toronto). But here is me in the sample vs. the model MODEL: ME: -
