We booked our hotel+air package with sunquest 14months before our wedding to secure the rates for 24 guests. I'm super happy we did now, because with the price of fuel going up the prices have gone up too, but we're locked into our price. You have to check with your TA, one of the issues with us was that Sunquest only had a certain amount of rooms at the resort that we wanted, so we didn't want to wait and risk there not being enough for our family. They won't be able to guarantee you the exact flight time or date, but they'll be locked into a price, and the tentative dates. Its a bit nerve wracking (at least for me) not knowing when I'll be flying out exactly but oh well.

OMG! that's terrible! I wish I knew what designer it was I can't believe that though! That's horrible! Do you mind me asking what store you went to? My friend just got engaged and we're going to be looking at dresses in the Vancouver area and I want to make sure we don't go there. Ugh that makes me so angry just thinking about it.

I bought my dress in Dec2007 and my wedding isn't until April 2009! I think that when you find a dress that you absolutely love you should get it. If it makes you feel fabulous then thats all that matters. There wouldn't be any point in continuing to look for other dresses...besides you'd never find another one that was more fabulous go with your gut!

I'm getting married at Dreams Cabo, and I booked pretty much everything (including Juan) over a year in advance. I don't think that you have to do it super far in advance though, I'm just crazy and a control freak, so I needed to know everything way way wayyyy in advance lol goodluck with the planning!

I'm totally interested, the price I was going to pay when I was going to do them in Van was $700 and it only included 10high res photos...so $475 with the disk I think is a deal!

Thanks girls I'm super excited for how everything is starting to come together...secretly I wish I could bring the dress home and just wear it around the house lol waiting another 8 months to wear it is going to be tough

After 7 loooong months of waiting for my dress to be made and delivered, I finally got to see it and try it on! I was super nervous not knowing if the dress would look ok with the silk-satin cafe color instead of the ivory silk-tafetta but I loooove it! I love it even more than the first time I tried it on. I went to the fitting with my mom this morning, and I bought the matilla veil in the pic too. The pics are taken with my blackberry, so excuse the crappy quality!
