I had sort of a similar experience. I hated all the dresses that I tried on until I found my dress. I mean I "liked" my dress when I first saw it but it wasn't exactly in my size either...so it was hard to imagine how it would feel when it was more fitted. When I went to view it after it came in, I thought I "hated" it....it was sooo big, especially on the top part. I wasn't really very excited to go back for my first fitting (which was on Sat). But once I went back, and they pinned it in the right places, and I had the veil on etc... I fell inlove!! I think that the next time you go to see your dress (once it comes in), get your hair and makeup done! If you feel you look amazing, you will feel differently when you see the dress on you. Plus when something fits appropriately, it will automatically make you feel more comfortable! I think you'll love your dress in the end! not everyone is inlove with it right away. And I think its normal to maybe wish you'd kept looking or picked something else hope that helps

I went for a 10k run yesterday...but it had just snowed, so it was more like climbing and sliding than really running and then my leg kind of fell through some ice, into a giant puddle, about 1/2 way through my "run"....so it was not very productive. Michael and I started our ballroom dance classes last night though! so I think maybe we burned some cals there I'm rowing for 30min tonight and doing pilates!

I have all outside vendors coming in for my wedding at Dreams Cabo, and none are staying there as guests. The resort allows for outside vendors, and actually the WC there has been super helpful in even giving me the names and contact info for a few of those vendors. We didn't do a package wedding, and we hired each vendor individually. Dreams is just providing us with the dinner, venue decotation and accomodations for the week. If you want to have some confirmation on this from them specifically, just email the wedding coordinators on site.

hmm that is a pretty high jump in not alot of time You should also think, if you find a dress that's similar that you like, you might be able to do the alterations to make it look like that one, and come out cheaper in the end.

OMG that's terrible hun! I'm sooo soo sorry! I don't know what I would do without my ring. We get so attached to it. I don't blame you for not wanting to go out and look at rings right away, I probably wouldn't be ready either. Give it a few days. See what the insurance company says. Was it insured? if it was, maybe you can get the exact same one again. I can't believe ppl...robbing someone is so heartless and cowardly!! why can't ppl just get jobs and work hard like everyone else grr I probably would have kicked the guy too

no i'm not using a band. Were actually having our ceremony at the Catholic Church in San Jose, and then coming back to the hotel for reception. We are doing all the actual planning separately, and didn't get a package. For the ceremony we have a group of people singing, and then at the reception we are just having an IPOD playlist. We were going to maybe get a DJ but decided not to, since I don't think its necessary.

I'm spending about $100-$200 on each girl, I have 5 maybe 6 in my wedding party. I'm having jewellery custom made for them from this fabulous designer in Vancouver, so the cost depends on the materials used and the piece itself. I'm so excited! I can't wait!

I'm getting married at Dreams and only using the hotel WC Yesica. She's been great so far. They are pretty busy so sometimes she doesn't answer emails right away, but in eventually she does. It doesn't bother me because I started my planning well in advance. I was originally using an outside coordinator as well, but I just found that I was able to get better prices on my own without her up-charging me. If you don't mind doing some of the research and work yourself, I would suggest just working with the Dreams Coordinator. They're really great! Have done this alot and I've heard really good things about them You will most likely need a travel agent (TA) though to coordinate your party's flights. The WCs won't do that.

I'm sorry that you had such a rough time with them. We were considering the Imperial Maya for our wedding too at one point, and I remember getting no answers to my questions....hence why were not getting married there either.

oh man I totally let my workouts slide after moving from Vancouver I secretly became a couch potato. BUUUUT I'm back!! I went for a "painful" run on Sunday...only lasted 35min with stops....a long way from my marathon stride But I went again on Tuesday and it was awesome. I did 45min with only 3 shorts stops of less than a min. I'm so pumped to go out again today and run. I forgot how much I love it. And being in a new city its honestly the best way to see the city and get used to the surroundings. Now if I can only start getting in daily gym workouts as well, I should be set. Less than 3 months before the wedding!!! omg I need to lose this extra fat ASAP!
