I thought it was just regular suit material (lite weight wool) but it came in different colors. My FI is getting a dark navy suit, lol, I think we'll be the one of the only ones going for a darker lite weight material.

we included little cards with our invites which specifically asked ppl not to send gifts, and explained that we didn't have a registry for this precise reason. Its worked ok so far

My FI designed ours, we found our own paper and printer etc... they turned out really great but it was quite a bit of work. In retrospect I would probably have had someone do it for me. Sarah on the forum does invites. You should take a look at her work.

We're not using Suzanne because I have ppl in my wedding party to help with that. For cakes we're using Sweet Dreams, Deena is wonderful and we're doing cupcakes. Weddings and music need to be off by 10:30pm but apparently there is a bar inside we can do it at, althouht i've been told that we'll be so tired that we won't want to party that much longer anyways. And lastly, for photographer we're using Juan Carlos happy planning...just use the "search" function and you'll find lots of info

your wedding is about you and your FI, and it will be beautiful no matter what. We can't control life, and sometimes unpredictable things happen. But focus on why you are getting married in the first place, to be with the man that you love for the rest of your life. It will be an amazing experience! I'm totally convinced

We love coffee, so we're doing espresso cups filled with chocolate covered espresso beans, and we're giving out one per person. As for the kids (under 10) we're filling the cups with jelly beans I would probably do something different for the kids if I were you, just because they probably won't care for the wine stopper much. How many children are there in total? If there aren't too many and you know them well, maybe you could just get them a little gift each. For the older ones maybe a picture frame? and the younger kids something they can maybe use during the reception so they don't get bored...like coloring book and crayons?

I need your help ladies! I am having about 50-60 cupcakes and a small cake for the top part, for my wedding. I would really like to buy an antique looking silver tiered cake stand..but I am totally lost as to where I can buy them. Has anyone come across anything like this??

I'm sorry that's super crappy. The same thing happened to me with 2 of my BM's. When they hadn't booked by a certain date though, I gave them a deadline to decide if they were coming or not...so 1 dropped out. The other is kind of still leading me on, but I'm definitely not counting on her being there as she just lost her job 2 weeks ago The economy is taking a toll on alot of people's lives, so I agree that you just have to take it all in stride and not let it stress you out too much. Your wedding will be amazing even if there are a few BMs missing
