  4. i absolutely LOOOOOOVE your pictures! they are incredible! You were such a beautiful bride! the pic of you and your BMs throwing your bouquets is one of my faves! I love how you kept all their dresses in the same style and color scheme but still unique. Amazing job on your wedding and CONGRATULATIONS to you two!!

I didn't see any lanterns during either of the weddings there, so I'm not sure. Either way...there's tons of light on that terrace. There's lights that wrap around all the trees, and plus they have these mini spot lights that they use. So don't be concerned about that.
  8. K so I'm answering in BLUE to your questions Tara Quote: Originally Posted by krebsler I just finally got the chance to read your review! Yesica organized this What is the station to the right? If you mean the C shaped station under neath the cocktail set up, that's the bar...so not very far from the tables. Is that where all the food is? Where is the bar or do the servers just bring you the drinks? The bar is to the right of the dinner set up, and yes the waiters are always on hand to serve drinks, but you're also welcome to get up and go to the bar yourself. I just want to make sure our guests will not have to walk away from the wedding to get drinks. Our guests did get up to get drinks but it didn't interfere with the wedding and hardly anyone lingered there. I've been at weddings where people are over at the bar instead of dancing, which is muy mal! Ha! Also, what food choices did you end up having? We had fish cake and salad for appy, cream of asparagus soup with roasted almonds and a choice of shrimp and scallop penne and beef ternderloin. Did I miss that somewhere? I've been contemplating on desserts and thought cupcakes were a great idea. Do you mind me asking how much 60 cupcakes were from Sweet Dreams? for 60 cupcakes and a cake it was about $460 I can't remember exactly. It was super reasonable though and they are so amazing! We may just go that route. Thanks for your help!! Quote: Originally Posted by JGAMMAGIRL77 Congratulations!!!! Everything seemed to come out soo beautiful!!! I was looking forward to your review. Did you end up having the fire dancers? Also, can you give me some insight on the food? Jessica no we didn't do the fire dancers, I decided it was too much money for a short time. I covered the food in my review, and also see the answer I gave to Tara above. But all I can say is that is AWESOME! i love the food at Dreams and so did all my guests. Definately awkward though when you have to not only go with this big ass dress but with friends in there helping you! haha! so jealous you were able to pull that off. I barely managed to make it through the ceremony and 2 hr picture taking
  9. I also agree with Tammy that the food is more than enough! Michael and his family are all super tall and eat alot! lol and they were so stuffed they could hardly eat the cupcakes. Besides if anyone is still hungry I'm sure you can probably order some more from one of the restaurants for them. Tara if you do the cupcakes you will absolutely love them. Deena does such an amazing job! My parents can't stop talking about them and they ask every few days if I can find a similar place that makes those kinds of cupcakes here in Toronto. Lol! They also keep for a long time and taste great after, so you can take them back to your room and eat them for the rest of the week!

I am having an aisle runner but dont want my guests to walk on it prior to me getting there so Im wondering if I have any room to move the pews towards the centre so that my guests can walk along the sides of the prews. Not sure if you remember much of that as Im sure you were pretty nervous!!! Any information would be great!!! Thanks Ana!!! Hi Olga, you're going to LOVE Juan. He's amazing! As for the Church, I don't think that the pews move or are able to be moved over. They are embedded into the ground. You might want to have one of your BM's spread out the aisle runner just after everyone has been seated, instead.
  11. Great review! its sounds like you all had an amazing time! congrats!
  12. everything looks amazing!! I can't wait for your wedding and to see how everything comes together! It will be so beautiful.
  13. the thing about Cabo too as opposed to the Mayan Riviera or other parts of Mexico, is that its a desert so there isn't any humidity. Usually in the Mayan Riviera that's where the mildewy smell comes from.
  14. Malisa your pictures are incredible!! Congratulations

In addition, what is the charge for additional guest and do outside guests have to purchase a pass to attend the wedding? If so- how much? If you don't purchase a wedding package from Dreams then you pay per person. As in our case, I found none of the packages applied to me especially since we were having the ceremony off site, so we paid $28 pp set up fee. As for the Guest Passes, you should contact Yesica. She can give you the rates for the time that you are getting married, and she can arrange to have them ready for your guests.
  16. great review but WHERE ARE THE PICTURES?!?!? Congratulations MRS.!!
  17. Hi Tamasin, there are already a bunch of threads and posts related to this. You can use the "search" function on the top right hand corner of the page to search for these answers.
  18. so crazy! I saw this on the news today and I couldn't believe it! I'm so glad that everyone is safe and sound. I'm not sure that the bride was acually on that flight though, because all the reports I've heard have been talking about the guests going down. Hopefully this didn't interfere with their wedding!
  19. you're welcome if you have any more questions please ask. We had 33 people at our reception but the Oceana Terrace could easily have handled 50. The second wedding we saw there actually had 6 round tables of 10 ppl each (yes I counted lol) and it wasn't crowded at all. The 5 tables we had could have handled 10 each, so if you see how they were set up, there is still quite a bit of room in the middle for dancing etc...
