I heart this thread!! M has been so amazing the last few days with all my work stress etc.. he's been extremely supportive and even volunteering to do our groceries and clean-up. Its not a huge action on his part, but he's really helping me feel like we can get through this and it means a lot to me to know we support eachother.

that's terrible!! I think that you have a positive attitude and eventually they will see it too. My parents' parents (on both sides) didn't like the fact that they were getting married either, and it wasn't until I was born that both sides put aside their bs and started acting like grown ups. If they see how much you love eachother they will come to respect your relationship too.

Allison, I think you need to look at your specific hotel requirements for outside vendors. There are some hotels that do not allow outside vendors (photogs included), for example the RIU chain. One of the reasons we picked Dreams for our wedding was because they allowed outside vendors.

I have had both, and currently have only 2 indoor cats. I think for us it was a personal choice. I felt safer having them indoors. Outdoor cats have a general life expenctancy of 8 years vs indoor who have 14years. There are alot of dangers outside, like cars, racoons, coyotes, poison etc.... Also, we live downtown. When we lived in Vancouver we were downtown and now that we're in Toronto we're at dundas and yonge lol so it wouldn't be very good for them to go out. Plus I don't think they could take the elevators Both our cats were rescues, and Minggis our eldest boy hates it outside. He won't even go near the open windows. I think it reminds him of the years he spent on the street. Poor little guy. As for training, I think you just open the door and let them go. They are smart and instincts will bring them back.

I thought someone had already made reservations for 5pm. For me my attendance will be dependenent on (1)traffic coming into Toronto, and (2)work and being able to get out before 5pm. Usually I don't get home until 6:30pm so I'm not sure if you girls will still be there

I might try to stop by if I get done with work early. I don't finish work until 5 usually, and it takes an hour and half or so for me to drive home after. Since I work in the burbs and live downtown So I might make it by 6:30 or so if I'm lucky but definitely not for 5pm :S its way to early for me
