So let me tell you about last night...we went out to eat to Red Lobster. for my 25th birthday. To my surprise my parents and my sister were there too. We had a few drinks and a nice dinner with some great conversations. After we ate they brought a cake out for me and sang happy birthday. It was a cheesecake with strawberries all over...yummy. After eating Junior gets up from his seat and says, "I have something to say." He puts his hand inside his pants pocket and pulls out a little box. I looked over at my parents and my sister and everyone is all teary eye. Junior gets down on one knee and says, "This is something that I should had done a long time ago...Jessica, Would You Marry Me? I almost forgot to respond to him from the shock that I was in but I of course said Yes!!! Its Official!!! We have been engaged for awhile now but he had never officially proposed. It was so perfect! I will post pics later.

You need to contact Father Gonzalo. Contact your local priest. Do precana classes. Get your and your FI baptism and confirmation certificates stamped with present date. Get letter from local priest approving your marriage in Mexico. The certificate and the letter must be given to Father Gonzalo. Let me know if you have any questions.

I feel that if he really wanted to be there that he would have come up with the money on his own or at least be up front with both of you from the start. its unfair for both you to have all the wedding expenses and still have to worry about paying for his trip. I do understand that it is hard knowing that your FI has no one on his side going. Did BM ask you guys to pay for him? Is there any way where mayne someone else can lend him the money? Will he even have enough time to get his passport and pay for it on his own?

From the start I decided that I wanted my bridemaids to chose their style for the dress. We went around to stores to look for dresses but nothing was appealing to them or myself so we decided to have the dresses made. I had gone to a lady that does custom embroidery about 2 months ago and she stated that she would be able to make the dresses for us. This is where it goes downhill. My bridemaids and I went on Sunday for the measurements. I showed her the color of the dress and she states that she doesnt have it and that she doubts she will find it at the store. She clearly had it when I went to talk to her 2 months ago!!! Then my bridemaids one by one showed her the picture of the dress they wanted. Can you believe that she complained about each and every single style. She was saying that they were to difficult to make. When I met with her 2 months ago she kept telling me that she has 30 years in the business and who knows what other bs. Well long story short....she was going to go to the fabric store to see if she could find the color and she will let me know Monday which was yesterday. To no surprise she didnt find it. Plan B I had my MOH(my sister) go to another lady that my mom and my godmother know. She was amazing and she knew exactly what to do and was very helpful. The greatest news of all is that my godmother called me last night and told me the best news ever!!! SHE IS PAYING FOR ALL THE BRIDEMAIDS DRESSES AS A GIFT TO ME AND JR!!! I am so excited. I have always believed that THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON

My groomsmen are wearing a tan suit with long sleeve white shirt, tie and vest. Very formal because we are having a church ceremony and a formal sit down 5 course meal reception.

Yes I have seen them. These are from Edna. I actually have alot of pictures from when I went if you want to see them. The church is much more beautiful in person though.

Yes I cant wait. I wasnt nervous until about a week ago. It suddenly hit me that its actually happening. Have actually seen the church in person? If you havent, you will not have any regrets. The church is so breath-taking beautiful. I just wish I could find some pictures of the flowers.

I have stayed at the Riu Cancun, Riu Vallarta, Riu Jalisco and now we are going to have our wedding at the Riu Vallarta. I love the Riu. The grounds are so beautiful the service is exceptional, the food is great. I have nothing but great comments about the them. There drinks and entertainment are great as well.

You should ask them to mail you a booklet in English.

Yes, when we went the father gave us booklet but its in Spanish. The booklet contains the whole mass. It includes different options to choose from. We are having a mariachi for music.
