  1. That was wonderful! Whoever did that did a great job! and I love that song..first time I heard it was in the Hope Floats movie!!!
  2. Welcome! If you have any questions I'll try to help,as I am getting maried at dreams to!
  3. I'm sorry but "I fogot!"......hello they are a adults! It's ridiculous that you have to send out reminders! People are just amazing and not in a good way! We sent out a save the date, and an invitation with a please RSVP by March 1st becuase we aren't doing a group rate, so if they wanted to wait until the last minute they were more then welcome to. I have taken the stance that I am not hunting people down, if they come they come, I am not their babysitter!
  4. I love Vista Print! For $16 (this includes shipping) I was able to get 100 postcards to give our guests to send back to family and friends while on vacation, instead of having to buy them at the resort, we got 250 business cards (way more then we need but that is the min order) so we can make luggage tags and we'll give each couple a few extra to pass out to family and friends back home for contact info for where they will be and I also got on of those self inking rubber stamps for our thank you cards that says our names (gulp--only one last name on that one! ) We were able to get premium business cards (which means we could do the back of the business card for free) and this is only available till Feb. 28th. so if you need stuff head over to vista print! Okay, now I am off to work on our pre-travel brochure, which we'll send out with our luggage tags.
  5. Yah, we heard that to. We plan on buying the forever stamps for when we have to send out thank you cards. Stupid postage...what every year now we'll have to have an increase!
  6. For those of you having an AHR, what are you using for dinnerware?? We are having a sit down casual meal, and are trying to figure out what to use for plates, paperplates or something a little nicer like masterpiece disposable.. We are thinking of using the Reflections cutlery as of now... Any suggestions would be great!!!!!!!!!
  7. When I first saw these I fell in LOVE but wasn't willing to pay the almost $90 for the set after shipping. However, a friend of mine has a daughter who is very crafty!!!! Well this summer we bought the beads and a cheap cake cutter set from Christmas tree store and today I got to pick it up!!! I am going to attempt to attach a photo...(I haven't done it before!) It was only like $40 bucks for it! If you'd like her info let me know!!!!!
  8. Even before I read your thread my thought was sage. I think it is such a pretty and relaxing color and so much decor can go with it! That's my vote...hopefully you win out!
  9. OMG, I just put our AHR invites in the mail. Our AHR is Sat. June 6th but my friends parents are cooking for us and so they want to have a count of how many people are coming before we head out to the DR on May 12th so they can start purchasing stuff! Also, my first dress fitting in next friday! Holy crap, it is getting so real!!! School has been keeping my emotions in check because I've been so busy but today is my day off from school and I totally have butterflies in my stomach!!!!!
  10. It's pretty sad that a dog has more compassion then the people driving on the highway! That dog is amazing!!!! Ohhh, I love animals
  11. I cashed in some points on my credit card and got a gift cert to SpaFinder.com so my mom and sister (who live near each other and threw my shower) could get a mani/pedi done before we left. I also got them each a pair of sandals and I bought them walkie talkies so it is easier to know where everyone is when we are at the resort
  12. I read the article on MSN and I guess it isn't going to really cost them all that much but what they'll get in free publicity will be worth 10X the cost of the breakfasts! Hey a free breakfast is a free breakfast right!!! Hopefully people will get to take advantage of it...I guess they are going to even give out rain checks if they can't serve you!
  13. tomorrow Feb. 3rd you can get a free breakfast from Denny's! check out the link below! Hold the corn flakes: Denny?s offers free breakfast - Smart Spending Blog - MSN Money enjoy!
  14. I really like that! I think so many brides have unrealistic expectations for their bridesmaid- they aren't really your MAID!!!!!your girls are going to love that fact that you are a realistic bride!!!!!
  15. I like the blue one the best. However, I think you should add a picture like you ahve on the burgandy on. I think if you add a pic with color, like bright red beach chairs on the blue website I tihnk that would look sharp
  16. Quote: Originally Posted by imapepper Thanks ladies!!! Meagan, I LOVE that dress! I am going to drag my mom to the store to try it on tomorrow!!!! It is a great dress! I think a lot of different body types could pull it off! Good luck, I hope your mom likes it!
  17. This is my mom's dress. It is very flattering on her and the pool color looks great on her. I didn't want her in a traditional "mother's dress" and she wanted long and something a little formal and we actually both agreed upon this! David's Bridal - Sleeveless long chiffon dress with charmeuse rounded neckline and sash at waist. Now I just need to find a decently priced flowers girl dress that matches or at least doesn't clash with this color!
  18. I am all about the $$$! We are doing $1 scratch tickets and putting them in a little plastic cover with a sticker saying something like "Lucky in Love" Or "Holy MatroMONEY" or "We Get Half" Good luck!
  19. We're trying to match the "pool" color from David's Bridal (mother of the bride's dress color) semi casual sun dress, and she is a size 7... Thanks!
  20. We've tried the search function, but no help? We are looking for a dress for our 7 year old neice who is our flower girl. We don't want anything formal, anybody have any ideas? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. I just did my first day of this with 5lb weights! I am sure I'll be feeling it later. I really like how she explains how to do everything correctly (specially when I am feeling the burn and not thinking about my knees being over my toes) and how she is like "NO BREAKS" if you want results don't stop...that kept me motivated! 1st dress fitting in T-28 days...so I have got to see results!
