Yes it is very exciting! After 1yr and a half of plannig it's finally around the corner!

Ladies, like the title says, this is a stupid question but here it goes. I have never waxed before, legs or anything else for that matter and I was wondering does anyone do it themselves and if so what products do they use or is anyone in the NYC area that knows of a good place to go? I'm super scared about waxing everything but I thinks it's just waaay better than having to shave everyday, specially when the hairs are so small, maybe it's just me, but they hurt like heck! Any suggestions I would greatly appreciate. I'm such a sucker for pain that I just don't know what to do and my day is getting closer and closer. TIA ladies!

Hi ladies, I too willbe getting married there on April 19th 08. I have been working with Juliana and she has been great and also takes about a week to respond to emails. As on eof the ladies posted, the receptions are all until 1030 so my suggestion would be to start it earlier than 8 pm. For example, my reception will be from 6 or 630 until 1030.That way I have more time for a reception. feel free to ask any questions and I'll try my best to answer them. You can also email me at [email protected] happy planning ladies.

When you get a private reception, they set up a bar (not a actually bar but they get a table with a white table cloth and stock it up with premium domestic and international drinks) as told to me by the WC. They do not charge extra for this, it is included.

Hi LadyCheese, I booked around June or July, but I'm pretty sure you'll be able to change. I deal with Juliana and she's done pretty good so far she's been pretty accomodating to all my questions and concerns. If you go to Dreamsresorts.com and go to the wedding link, you'll find info, pics and her contact info. All you have to do is email her with the date you want and she'll reply letting you know if it's available or not. When it was sunscape, there was no deposit required and everything is paid on site upon arrival but I don't know if that has changed now. She will be able to help you with that. If there are any questions you might have, feel free to ask i'll be more than happy to help. Good Luck, I hope your date is available.

Tammydez, what I did was google something like "weddings in DReams punta cana 2008" to see if anyone posted their pics and sometimes you have luck and can see their set ups. The resort does not have table linens in my wedding color so I'm taking them with me because I saw their all-white set up and it looked a too plain for me but that's just an fyi for you to keep in mind. They only have limited colors so that's something you might want to ask about.

Hi Carrie, I am dealing with Julianna, she is my WC. So far she's been pretty good, only thing is she takes a while to respond to emails but I'm pretty sure you know that by now! LoL...Too bad our weddings are so far apart...you'll have to tell me how it went when you get back so I k now what to expect!

Just so you know ladies, I spoke with the WC and she confirmed that they have the adaptor for the ipod to be connected to the speakers. Hope this helps!
