  1. Hi Ladies I am so excited to tell you that Saks is closing all of their bridal suites (except California and New York) and all their designer dresses are 50% off!! Yes!! I could not believe it! I bought my dress from there yesterday for half the cost. It is Monique Lhuillier so you know that is a steal. They had so many beautiful dresses there. They were expensive but for half the price, I drove 2 hours to location in Richmond VA. Hope this will help someone save money bc it surely helped me. They are not advertising until after the new year so now is a good time to go before the news gets out there

I would prefer to purchase used because I can't afford regular price. I am street size 6. Please e-mail me with size and cost [email protected]. thanks!!

  4. thanks for advice. I have pictures of the dress I want and she was going to go to the bridal shop with me to see it in person. She made a couple of things for me before but it was when I was in high school. I can trust her but I am just scared bc it is my wedding dress...gggrrrr...what a tough decision
  5. How do you feel about getting a wedding dress made? Do you think it is still the same as store bought, especially if you already have one in mind but can't afford it
  6. Are the grooms wearing the same suit? If so, the groom can probably wear a plain tie and he can wear a printed one

  14. I need help finding bridesmaids dresses. I was hoping to find one now while summer clother are on sale, but no luck bc of color. I am looking for coral, peach, orange or persimmon. The dress has to be knee length and no more than $150.00. I was also trying to stay away from traditional dresses, I really want something different that they can wear again
  15. It was really disappointed!! The performances was so weak and how did Britney get 3 awards?
  16. thanks for posting. I can't wait to get married there. Do you know if there are other options for DJ? I definitely do not want to hear the same music over and over
  17. Hi Ladies Here is a great website for sea shells to decorate table with Jamali Garden Supplies
  18. I know what you mean...lol. I used powerpoint for inserts (with no experience). I just made a couple styles and chose which one I liked the best. I only had to cut the middle insert because I ordered the RSVP cards. I cut all the paper first. It was easy for me to see how it was going toturn out byt doing it that way. It's a lot of trial and error. I really wanted to give up, but don't, it is well worth it. Maybe take a break from it Let me know if you need anything else
  19. Not sure if this will be the same bc of style I used... Invitation mat- I played around with it a lot because I wanted the roses to bleed off the paper Page setup: 5.6H 5.6W Print setup 6.2 Height 6.2W Inserts Cut 5.75" (Page Setup 5" W 5.75" H) ; 4.65" (Page Setup 5" W 4.65" H) 3.5" (page setup 5" W 3.5"H) I don't have the print setup. I would just use plain paper first as template and keep adjusting as needed If you have any questions, just let me know. I really had no idea what I was doing so I will gladly help
  20. thanks everyone!! It took me about 2 weeks. I was only able to work on them a little each day after work. The flowers is rosegarden font. I just enlarged and placed them next to each other

Looks like you printed these yourself on your own printer? Where did you get the templates to get the sizing correct on each insert? thanks! I forgot to mention that part. This was very frustrating at first. I used plain printing paper as a template to practice on first. I cut a couple pieces for each one. I probably went thru about 10 for each one to get it right. You have to play around with the page setup and print set up. I started out with the measurement of the actual cards and then went from there. I think it would have been a lot easier if I wasn't trying to get the flowers to bleed of the sides of the paper. Hope this helps. I wrote down a couple of measurements, but not sure how that will work out if you don't use the same form Let me know if you need help once you get started
