My FI and I feel the same way about inviting the people that we ONLY see once a year or at weddings or funerals. We probably will invite everyone to our wedding in Mexico but we know that MOST will probably not come. (expecting about 35-40 in Mexico). Then when we get back home we are going to do something SUPER small like a backyard BBQ type of thing to save on costs.

Great thanks for the advice! I just emailed Nicole there today so hopefully I can talk with her here in the next few days and maybe schedule a site visit with her. I too have a bit of hesitation on the boat ride but the more pictures I look at the better I feel!

So far just a few. He said it looks super nice but he just isn't too sure about the long boat ride. I will work on him though a bit I personally just discovered LC here last weekend! Previously we were just thinking PV maybe Vallarta Palace? who knows it is all still up in the air at the moment!

not too sure on the date yet. I just contacted Nicole this week, shooting for late April 2009 or early may. I am still trying to convince my FI that Las Caletas is the place for us! (he is not too thrilled about the boat ride). Maybe we will plan a trip to PV in the next few weeks.

Hello Everyone! My name is Andi and I am pretty new to the board and just finished reading this entire thread! I am so excited about what i have just read! We are now considering LC as an option for us. I just have a quick question, probably a really silly one but how does transportation work as far as getting guests from the hotel to the dock (or wherever the boat takes off from)? Do you have to set something extra up like a bus? Oh, also one more quick thing...where exactly in PV does the LC boat depart from? Thank you for all the wonderful information so far!
