Ok, so I admit...ever since I "officially" booked Las Caletas I have been checking the website to see my date blocked off...it has taken awhile BUT they finally updated the calendar! It is cool to see our date blocked out for us! (ok, ok, it is the small things that are helping me get through the next 10 months of WAITING for the day!) here is the link, I can't be the only one waiting for block out right?! This hotel was initially in our top choices as well although we completley changed locations...but anyway this hotel looks so beautiful I can't wait to see everyones wedding pics from there!

Congratulations and great review! That sucks about the boat ride over for your guests...but yeah...can't control the weather! Ok, so I have a question for everyone who has purchased these bags...who will actually use them first? I have my 20 bags sitting in a big box in my garage and suddenly I am a bit nervous about hauling them all down to Mexico. I am having second thoughts because they are a bit more on the bulky side...don't get me wrong I love them and they were a great find/price but really who will take them to their wedding first?!

thanks for this thread! I too will be married at Las Caletas and love the idea of one long table with a smaller one turned so we can face our guests! Also I love not having assigned seating...one less thing to worry about in all honesty...and since our wedding will be small and casual who needs assigned seats! (well maybe i will assign the seats closest to us for our parents but that will be about it!)

mrspeterson, I totally agree with not sharing too much info with guests on LC! we are doing the same thing and want our guests to be really surprised! My STD's just went out and all I said was to save the date for a wedding in PV...no mention of LC at all...I am thinking when my invites go out or somewhere along the line I will mention the boat ride but not much more!
