Hey I have a question for everyone...where are you guys going to have your receptions/private functions? Is there an option to have that outside? we are planning on having a welcome dinner the night before our wedding...i was just wondering if anyone knows what the options are for locations on that type of stuff

Our group is staying at Vallarta Palace when we go down to PV next April for our wedding at Las Caletas! We initially were going to get married there as well but then I absolutely fell in love with Las Caletas (that is a whole different story ) BUT we are still going to stay at Palace. We have never been to PV let alone stayed at Vallarta Palace but we did go to Cancun last year for vacation and stayed at Cancun Palace and LOVED it. From what I hear the Palace resorts (because they are a chain) are very similar. We are going to have a private welcome dinner there the night before our ceremony at Las Caletas and actually are in the midst of getting our group rates locked in. I have seen some pics of other who have vacationed there and it looks AMAZING! (actually very similar to the hotel in Cancun) I am glad to see there are now some other Vallarta Palace brides on here! Earlier this year when we had thought we decided on Palace, I think I was the only one on here!

(at least i did ) anyway you have to add that font file (.ttf) to your font folder on your computer. the best way to do that i have found is to save the font to your desktop, then open your control panel and there should be font folder there. Then you just need to drag the .ttf file from your desktop into your font folder on the control panel. Once you do that the next time you go into word or powerpoint the new font will be there. Even though the flourish font are designs, each letter you type will give you a different design (once the font is added to your computer!) sorry this is probably really confusing! just ask if you have questions!

I just ordered my invites a couple of days ago from them! so far they have been great. I was very undecisive on the colors i wanted to use and actually ordered sample swatches twice from them! Both times they had a super fast turn around time and actually my order from the other day is on the way already! If you are unsure about metallic vs. canvas I would highly recommend ordering some samples! the samples are inexpensive and they do not charge shipping for them!

I ordered my dress today! From what I hear the prices on Maggie Sottero dresses are going up Sept. 1...so I ordered mine today BEFORE the increase! It is Maggie Sottero Phillipa. SOOOOO not the type/style of dress I originally set out looking for but the consultant in the store suggest I try it on and I LOVED it! Here are some pics. I ordered the dress in white (sample was gold), also I am going to have the neckline altered to a sweetheart. I was trying to hold it in place the way I want the neckline to look in the one pic anyway I can't wait for it come in now! (oh sorry for the weird coloring on the one pic!)

Hey Everyone, when you sent your invitations out...did you/are you going to tell your guests anything about the boat ride? I really do not want to give out any details on LC but I do want my guests to know that there will be a boat ride so nobody is surprised about that. I am working on my pocketfold invites now and I just can't decide what to put in there! Thanks!
