Las Caletas Brides ~ Post HERE! (THREAD CLOSED)
Andi replied to TammyWright's topic in Puerto Vallarta Accommodations & Site
Hey Brittany, quick question for you...Brent did not get to Caletas until all of your guests arrived? is that correct? So then I am assuming you guys took most of your pics after the ceremony? how was the sunlight and such? did it all workout fine with him coming with the guests? we are trying to decide if we should have Nicole set up a different boat to take Reggie and arrive at caletas around 3ish before the guests so we can take pictures. He is golfing earlier on Friday and just don't want him to be all rushed to catch the earlier boat....so if sunlight and everything was fine with pics after the ceremony that is the route we will go too thanks!!!!!!!!!!! -

Would this be okay? I'm only having like 30 guests so there will not be too many tables anyway. I am having the same dilemma right now! I just want something simple, I don't think it would be bad at all to NOT have table numbers and just put each placecard at the tables...I am thinking about doing the same thing!

OH MY GOODNESS! Your date is exactly one year after mine! We are getting married in two weeks!!!! Maybe by 4/24/10 we will be heading back to PV/caletas for our anniversary trip and we can crash your wedding! nah, just kidding...but congrats on becoming an LC bride! -

It's called "Glam" and it's at the very end of the Malecon where No Name Cafe use to be. It's two story with some balconies, beautiful hanging chandeliers and oodles of tvs with music videos. I like it because they kept the old town look on the outside (a lot of people who build in Vallarta don't do that). We might go there next week for dinner so, if we do, I'll keep you posted . Hey Mishka, do you know if there is any info online about Glam? I tried to google it but came up with nothing. we are trying to decide which club would be the best to reserve a table at...this new one sounds really fun! thanks! -

I just popped over to facebook to check your pics out! OMG your dress was so pretty!!! the bridesmaid dresses were super cute too! Everything looked amazing! -
Brittany, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I am so glad that everything turned out well! I am glad your dad was running late as opposed to something happening to him! My heart sunk when I was reading that, I thought you were going to say something about your dad being sick or missing or worse!!!!!! I think that it is funny that you girls were just at Caletas toasting away while Brent was running around like a mad man trying to find everyone! hee hee hee, ahhhh the perks of being a Las Caletas bride! Glad your fam finally showed, that is my fear that my notoriously late arriving family will miss the boat! I can't wait to see your pics...let us know when they are up! Oh, also if you don't mind me asking...what was the price range for Barcelona Tapas? We are suppose to have our welcome dinner at our hotel but I have heard about the amazing food, service, views, etc. etc. from a few others and thought it might worth looking into? let me know thanks!

Our Legal Day Pics!
Andi replied to tchuchuca's topic in Post your Destination Wedding & Engagement Pictures!
Congrats Mrs.! you two look so happy in your pics!!! when do you leave for Playa?! Quote: Originally Posted by Princess_Head_Face Congratulations! A lot of DW brides choose not to have their legal ceremony in Mexico, Jamaica or wherever because of the requirements that the bride and groom have to adhere to prior to the ceremony in each country. For example in Mexico to get "legally" married there you have arrive 3 business days before the ceremony then you have get your blood drawn down there, etc. etc. Some brides choose to keep their "legal" day a total secret from all friends/family because their legal day is not their real wedding day. some go to the local courthouse with their close family and have cute, simple ceremony like Tati did. You can do whatever you like! and best of all (if you choose to) you can celebrate your anniversary on your legal day and your real wedding day! We got legally married a month ago in Vegas and had drive thru ceremony...none of our family was there and that was just fine by us! our REAL wedding is in 3 weeks in Puerto Vallarta with family and friends...that ceremony will be a symbolic ceremony (but about 90% of our guests don't even know that we are already married! hee hee hee!) -
HEY! Those look oddly familiar!!!! I like that you added the extra 'Passports' insert! Adding that makes the RSVP card look more in place than mine were. I am so glad you put my templates to good use! I created those to fit in the pocketfolds that were from cards and pockets because I just loved pocketfold invites so much and just couldn't justify the prices that some places quoted me! Your guests will LOVE them! Most of my guests couldn't believe that I made them on my own! One tip though...If you haven't already put stamps on them, when you take them to the post office be sure to have them weighed because I had put stamps on mine with the 59cent stamps and then when I got there they told me that still wasn't enough so I had to add more! Erika, I have the templates that I sent Deanna...PM me your email address and I can send them over to you if you want them!

They would have to find their own lodging and find ways to get where they need to be on their own. There also would not be any OOT bags for them. It has always bothered me that people ignore RSVP dates (not just for weddings, but pretty much for everything). I'm not putting up with it. Yep totally agree with you Kristy... they are on their own! I may run out of somethings on the OOT bags because I have already bought it all and I am not going to worry about running to the store to buy more stuff for the late guests who NEVER RSVP'd!
