Hi Everyone! Thank you for all the nice send offs!!!! Hey so I just wanted to thank you all for all of your help, tips, advice...EVERYTHING that you have provided me through all my planning. I think I mentioned this in my planning thread but seriously though I wouldn't have EVER found LC if it weren't for all you past brides! Ok, so we leave wednesday morning and return May1... I have one more day of work (booo!) and then we are off! Suprisingly I am READY to go, almost all packed and just not stressed at all...just EXCITED!!! I will be sure to bring back lots of pics!

Anyway...I LOVE LOVE LOVE her stuff and can't wait to order another one after all this wedding stuff settles down...for the wedding though she made me customized wristlets for gifts...they seriously are SO cute and very well made! ok this is it! I blinged out my cake topper myself… Since we also have a dessert bar, I think there might be extra cake so I have these boxes for cake-to-go then the bags will be provided so guests can put their cake, pashmina, maracas…whatever in and take back on the boat to PV. LAST ONE – I PROMISE! These are glow necklaces I ordered from Ebay…I just thought these would be fun to have at the reception and I LOVE glow necklaces! that was long!

Wedding Day stuff My embroidered Hoodie – Hoodie from Old Navy then I took it and had it embroidered at a local shop in Denver. DIY Tears of Joy packets, will be on each chair at the ceremony along with maracas for our guests to shake at our first kiss Las Caletas color changing cups – we will have these at the bar during the reception –ordered from VendoDirect and split and order with other LC brides! Pashminas for all of the ladies – Eat, Drink and be Married cocktail napkins – Sign for Postcard guestbook table, we will get postcards when we get to PV for this: Sign for tequila tasting table at reception…this might have been a bad idea but it will be fun! ONE MORE COMING....

OOT Contents: Contents include sunscreen, gum, photoshare card, shout wipes, yankee candle car freshers (for when they get back), bug repellent wipes Personalized candles (I randomly found these at a bath and body works outlet for $2 each then added my own flair!) Aches & Pains packs – includes Tylenol, Dramamine, immodium (in the cute montezumas antidote envelopes, pepto and band aids Personalized chapsticks – the labels say “it started with a kiss now it has come to this!†- sorry this is a bad picture but you get the idea! Notepads that I added our monogram to (bought at the dollar store $1 for a pack of 3) DIY Keycard/tip holders: Playing cards (template from MarieSam!) Personalized matchbooks – some will go in the OOT bags and then some will be at the reception because we will have cigars there! STILL MORE COMING...

We do not have a wedding party, just a flowergirl and ring bearer…here is her attire: And she will wear these flowers in her hair, ordered from etsy seller PrettyBabyBowtique, these shipped fast!: And I went a bit crazy on getting stuff for her..she is a girly girl and is so proud of being the flowergirl…I got her a tshirt from customizedgirl that said “in charge of the petals†she will wear that on the plane. I forgot to get a picture of that shirt before I gave it to her. I have swimsuit cover-up for her and a flower tank top that I made: This is her special OOT bag, that she will be able to carry to Las Caletas on the morning of the wedding. The bag is from JUST EMBROIDERED TOTES : Here are some of the extras for her bag: Our ringbearer is 10 and I had a hard time getting him “cool†things…there was no way he would wear a “ring bearer†tshirt so I didn’t even bother. I did get him some cologne, shirt and adidas bag… then when we get there I hope to get him a boogie board to use in the ocean because he is really getting into surfing The kids will also get these goodies in their bags – includes magic cards, beach balls and other fun pool/ocean stuff! OOT Bags I bought these bags about a year ago at target and added my own tags…these were the biggest challenge to pack! I have a big box of them… MORE COMING...

Gifts: Gifts: Personalized Tshirts for our grandmas and moms – ordered from Vistaprint, they say “grandma of the groom†“mother of the bride†etc: Personalized Hankies for Grandmas, moms and my dad – ordered from etsy seller mollyandmom (she was great to work with by the way!) Wristlet purses ordered for the girls going to Las Caletas with me for the day! – ordered from etsy seller loveamarie – they are soooo cute, I even bought one for me! BPic book for FI! I really can’t wait to give this to him…I might give it to him the day before the wedding so I can have my camera ready to catch his reaction! Wedding Day Card for FI from MyPublisher…this is so cute too, I tied signs around our dogs that say “please marry our mommy todayâ€. YEP....STILL MORE!

Wow…I know almost everyone says this but I seriously can’t believe it is almost time for me to leave! This forum has been a complete life saver, LITERALLY every idea for my wedding has come from someone on this forum and I can’t thank you all enough. So please know that if I used your template and don’t mention your name I am sorry…but VERY thankful! Be warned this thread is long but I was able to get so many great ideas from everyone here that I thought it was only fair to share every detail of what I ended up with! Before I get into what you all really want to see I first want to thank Tammy for creating such an amazing place for all of us! So many people have helped me along the way I really wouldn’t know where to start in naming names to thank everyone for their ideas and inspiration! I do though want to give one big thanks to all of the other Las Caletas brides if it wasn’t for you all I would not even know that such a special place even existed! Ok ok, on with the goods! After reading all the posts about the boarding pass STD’s I decided to tackle my very first DIY project. I had the neckline altered into a sweetheart and am really excited about the way it turned out. OH MAN! I have had some of those conversations in the past too! Hang in there girl! I think it is important to tell him how much you would really appreciate his help...if that doesn't work, just stop doing stuff! then we will quickly realize all the work that you do! I have lived with FI for 2.5 years now and we are just now getting to the point of him actually helping me with stuff! I really appreciate what he does do now and I can see him making an honest effort to help out with the household chores so that alone (the effort) is good enough for me! He did irritate me today though as I was packing and getting everything ready to leave this week for Mexico...um...while I was doing EVERYTHING he was napping on the couch! I had to "kindly" ask for help so he did get up after about 20mins and helped me vacuum and fold laundry...sometimes they need reminders! I really think he would forget his head if it weren't attached!

So yeah Nicole told me today not to worry about the sunlight for photo shots after the ceremony because Mexico just had their "daylight savings" or whatever they call it down there and so she said the sun is not setting now until at least 8:30!!! so after hearing that I think Reggie is just going to come over with the rest of the guests and then we can do shots after the ceremony...also too we don't have a wedding party so we won't have any of the pics with the wedding party....I am kinda nervous about doing most of our pics after the ceremony because I dont want to totally miss the cocktail hour! Although I am sure I can find someone to bring me drinks while we are taking pics hee hee hee!

On the Chuppah...I LOVED LOVED LOVED Tara's set up and asked Nicole to have mine just like hers! Tara I hope you don't mind me using yours for my inspiration! I think these might be the beads that LC Rachel left there?

Hey Everyone.... So Nicole has a blue starfish boquet jewel that Tara (tvt) used for her wedding in November. She was nice enough to leave it with Nicole/Kelly at Las Caletas for me to use at my wedding next week...I will be leaving it for Jaime to use in May! we (Jaime and I) were thinking that it would be a nice touch if the BDW Las Caletas brides wanted to borrow the starfish and then leave it there to pass on to eachother! I am not sure if we have a list going or anything for that? If not I would be willing to start a list and keep track of who wanted to borrow it and coordinate that with Kelly/Nicole. Or it may just even be easier to let Kelly/Nicole know that we will just leave the jewel with them and as BDW brides request it they can just pull it out for each of our weddings? either way...just wanted to let you all know that we are going to start to pass this starfish on to eachother...I THINK Tara was the first to use this starfish? (although I am not certain, maybe it was Yari?) anyway, let me know what you all think!

Tati, everything looks wonderful!!!! Have a great time and bring back tons of pics! The picture of your dogs is too cute! I am just wondering how you got them to sit so nice? I tried to get a pic like that too but my dogs were acting wild so my pic didn't come out nearly as good as yours!!!!
