No! Don't put them in your checked luggage! you can't do that...if you get caught I don't think it is very good...although not sure what they do... also too you might want to check with your resort about if they allow them. I wanted sparklers really bad for our first dance but unfortunately that was the one thing I didn't get. I asked my coordinator about us just buying some down in Mexico when we got there but she said that they are not readily available at all times in during the year. that you can only really find them around the holidays (new years, independence day etc). so she couldn't have even given me a place to go get them down there. Sucks that I didn't get those but I just got glow necklaces instead that were brought out after our first dance and fire dancers...those were fun too! not sparklers...but fun!

Hmmm I don't think that price seems too unreasonable. My shoot ended up costing me about $500 but that was because I did add the cd of pics (unedited) to it. I think I was charged and extra $150 for that. I am glad I have them though (even if unedited), I think DH wants to get more printed here eventually. also too, he got the book that I made for him in Mexico and then when we got home, practically the first thing he asked me about was where the cd of pics was...so then he ran in and looked at those! It was almost like two gifts in one!

oooh jaime, you know what else you should try is a chelada or michelada... it is a beer on ice with lime juice and a salt rimmed glass! mmm those are good too...check though...sometimes they make them with some spicy like wortshechire sauce (which i dont like it with) but the lime, ice and salt one is good!

wow, sorry you are going through this...we had some resistance from my MIL early on too. I second what everyone else has said...send your STD's early and give guests enough time to decide/save money on their own if they want to attend or not. Do you think that maybe your mom and FMIL are pushing back at all because they might be against the DW all together? we had some of that too...but again, this is your guys day and if you really want to get married on the beach in another country than DO IT and don't worry about what anyone else tells you! in the end it all worked out for us...my mom was so sad when the trip was over...and she was sort of against the whole thing at the beginning!

awww man that sucks about the ring....i am sure it will come back though just the way you really want it! you know what you could do...just for fun (since tomorrow is not your "real" wedding anyway) is go find the the most tacky cheap ring you can and wear that! that would be fun...can you imagine wearing like a cheap, awful, huge, gaudy thing?! Just a thought it would be a good story later! as far as outfits...maybe like a cute pants suit type outfit...business casual something or other? or a cute summer dress? that would be fun too! wow wow wow.... SORRY this might be a SPOILER here for you west coasters...I am not sure...so just in case I am going to tab way down I am kinda in shock that Kris beat out Adam!!!! Adam is so the better singer and much more FUN to watch! This is my theory...and just my thoughts on it....Adam was just too "different" for America. Hey I have totally nothing against him...but um, did anyone else notice that he had rhinestones lining his bottom lashes when he was singing with Kiss?! I admit it was kinda cool...def. looked good on TV BUT my guess is that MOST of America is NOT ok with that type of thing. Just my thought...I was rooting for Adam to win!
