good thread! I was lucky enough to stumble upon BDW before we booked a location...we knew we wanted Mexico but were originally thinking the Cancun area. Our plan totally changed when I started reading about Las Caletas on here! The pics of Las Caletas that I found just took my breath away (Ann's pics in particular ) So we had never been to PV or Las Caletas...although AFTER everything was booked I did do a super quick 2 day site visit!

great pics! the wedding party one with the masks on totally cracked me up! I bet you guys are so glad that you went through with the wedding in Mexico even with all of the Swine hype! it looks like you guys had an amazing time and now you have a great story to tell I am sure (you know to explain that pic 10 years from now!)

Anyone watch the premiere of this tonight?...have to admit it is our (yes my DH too! ) new guilty pleasure....we were pretty entertained I CANNOT stand Spencer...did you hear him on the phone with the NBC guy? seriously he thinks he is such a HUGE celebrity....ugh he needs to go first then that we can watch poor little Heidi Pratt cry about her hubby being gone

My DH didn't want to ruin his suit either...we did some TTD shots just walking around town, which he wore the suit for but then he just wore khaki shorts for the pool and beach stuff which honestly I was fine with...I was the one we was way more excited about the TTD...so my DH just went along with it pretty much because I wanted to do it, so I didn't really care if he had on a suit. I did buy him a linen shirt at Kohl's to wear but as we were getting ready I told him to put it on...he looked at me and goes "why would I wear a shirt in the pool?!" aye yi yi! I don't think he really understood the whole TTD thing at all...so I let it go and just let him wear the shorts...

oh here is another...this is just of our table...we had a table for two (don't mind my face...not sure what I was doing there! the set up though with the candles though was the same on all of the tables.... oh on the pic above, the boxes were filled with personalized m&m's (which I am not sure if anyone ever got pics of those! ugh) and the maracas were on the seats for the ceremony to shake at our first kiss

I haven't used wedclean, but I hav been looking into using them as well. I am not really sure what I want to do with my dress either. I dont really like the idea of putting it in a box but I dont want to sell it either. I am anxious too Mel to hear what kind of responses you get on this thread

ok, here is my new set and the quick not very exciting story about why I got a totally new set for our wedding day. So my DH proposed with a princess cut diamond, the band was thicker and really cool...well when we went to look for a wedding band we could not find anything that I really liked. while we were out shopping I fell in love with this black diamond! never really thinking anything about it again...DH bought me the black diamond set and never told me until the day before our wedding! so here it is! I love it...so not traditional at all but hey neither are we! I first saw a black diamond on Carmen Electra in a magazine and thought it was cool.. I tried to use the tips at the beginning of this thread to help me take the pic...all I could find in my kitchen to put the ring in to hold it up was rice! not too bad!

haha you guys are cracking me up with the baby talk! I too confess that OCCASIONALLY I think it would be fun to start trying for babies now that we are married. however I know that we so are not ready for that. we are a few years away on being ready I think. My DH would KILL me if he knew I have these baby thoughts....he too would be a good daddy...I see how he is with our dogs...he is a really good daddy to them!
