Puerto Vallarta has a lot of beautiful places to get married! Try to remember that this is your wedding. If you and your FI have your hearts set on a PV wedding then that is what you should do! My mom too was a bit hesitant on the DW wedding idea and was not too happy about it but now that our wedding is over she is asking when we can go back to do it all again because everyone had some much FUN! having a DW is truly a once in a lifetime expericence! awesome they turned out great! totally agree with you on investing in a cutter like that...I bought one too for my STD's and ended up using it many more times for all of my other DIY projects for the wedding...so I hope you get some more use out of yours too!

good review Kathy! I really like Jenine and Ade's first dance...I even rewinded it watched it twice! Ok totally agree with you on the bottom 4...however I have a feeling Kayla is not leaving. OMG..the news here in Denver last night had an entire segment on her again (she is from denver) they reposted her voting number and all that jazz (although I am sure every news station in each dancer's local city is doing that?) ok so anyway, my guess for going home tonight is Melissa and Evan (I am gonna be real pissed if it is NOT evan!) I still heart Jeanine a lot...she is just such a good dancer and so darn cute! She is my pick to win it!

Meghan - the tequila tasting table was a last minute decision that we added and it was the hit of the reception! especially since I for the life of me could not get anyone to dance...I just made them take shots instead! I don't think it cost extra we did have to buy the bottles of tequila though, which wasn't a big deal. we just bought them when we got to PV then gave them all to nicole and she did the rest. I made the signs Di - the invites look great!

woo hoo! I am so happy she picked Ed. I really liked him from the beginning. I do not think he is geeky one bit. Reid was the way bigger dork IMO. I cannot believe he had the you know what to go all the way back thinking he could just sweep her off her feet! SERIOUSLY that was lame of him. Ed is genuine, sure he left in the beginning but I don't think he thought he would fall for her the way that he did. I mean he did come back! Anyway...I am so glad to see those two end up together! they are cute

Wow Kristy, I have got to say everything that you are feeling is exactly me too! Especially the job thing. Oh I so am in the same boat. I too am in the midst of weighing my options on a career change. Problem is even though I am not too thrilled with my job I am not sure I could go somewhere else and do something I really want to do and make the $$$ to pay bills. So I get it! the best thing in my life is my DH..Love him more than anything and I am sooooo happy to be a Mrs. now. I kinda missed the wedding planning right after but that has passed. Hang in there Kristy you are not alone!

I had to convince my hubby on it too at the beginning. here is what it came down to for us...we knew we wanted a DW, just didn't know where. these are the things that totally sold us on LC 1.) coordinators there - both of them Kelly and Nicole are AMAZING. they do it all, I was NEVER stressed about a thing 2.) it is private, you won't have joe tourist in the background of your pics as you might get at some of the resorts. they only do one wedding a day. 3.)practically everything is included. we added fire dancers and a couple other things but that was really it! 4) It is so beautiful there...and as the bride you get to spend the entire day there in the bridal casita...that was so cool, how many other brides get to do that?! I didn't have a wedding party so I was with my mom and aunts all day. we drank champagne, margaritas, walked on the beach...it was the most relaxing wedding day ever! ok, well I am sure I could go on and on. but those are the big things that helped us decide. ahhh, just talking about it, I wish I could go back and do that day all over again...It really was the best day of my life! check out some other LC brides slideshows... haha thanks Di...I have no problem with my slideshows being passed around! I did the same thing with everyone's before me, I would show everyone. I got a lot of weird comments though like "wait how do you know these people". oh well. so i understand ooh I want to see your invites when they are finished! I hijacked a VA pic too to use on our website. ooopsies never thought about the copyright thing! what pic did you use? if it is something I have a pic of too you could use mine if it is better, just throwing that out there! So my cousin just got engaged, talked to my mom last night and she said "hey let's convince her that she needs a to have a DW at LC too! then we can go back and do that all again!" I had to LOL because my mom was pretty much AGAINST our DW from the beginning and kept telling me that she wasn't sure about LC (of course that all changed after our site visit trip last december but still!) so it is funny to hear her say that now. although I am going to suggest it to my cousin hee hee hee!

oh and I totally agree with everyone else who said that it would have been nice to actually hear from the old cast members....a where are they now type of thing. that would have been a 100 times better than watching Katie holmes

I was really irritated by two things last night, 1.) Evan - ok um seriously who the heck is out there actually voting for this guy!? yeah is an ok dancer and it is cool he made the top 20 and all but IT IS TIME TO PACK YOUR BAGS! He wasn't even in the bottom! 2.) Katie Holmes - I really didn't get all of the hype about her. don't get me wrong, I think it is great she donated to the charity and all that but SHE DIDN'T EVEN SING LIVE! and I might be wrong here but it really appeared to me like her whole performance was taped! I don't think she was performing live for the audience and I don't even think she was there!!!!!!!!! is she THAT big of a diva that she had to do it that way? she did look pretty though other than that, I guess I am in the minority here but I was not shocked to see Jeanette go. The judges were shocked but I really never got into her that much.
