Quick confirmation from the old post information though - it sounds like you def cannot get legally married at LC but have to do it on the dock before you leave or in PV? Sound right? We weren't going to do a legal here before leaving but I am now thinking we should and save us the trouble of running around for blood tests etc. whoa that is a lot of posts to read through! I might be wrong but I think (and check with kelly for sure) there might be a way for you to get legally married there now. Most though don't want to mess with all the logistics of it (ie: blood samples) and just get married legally at home. you don't even have to tell anyone that if you don't want to...your guests will never know the difference!

hello and welcome. when you said boutique hotel I instantly thought of Playa Fiesta in Puerto Vallarta. check the thread out. basically your guests can take over the entire hotel and the wedding and everything will be there. there are lots of rave reviews on it! http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...eddings-36534/

I don't know if it was just our room, but it seemed older where the Grand Class Suite was remodeled and new. The bigger suite had stairs to the bedroom and it was more of a pain than anything - glad we only upgraded for one night. I'd stay with the less expensive Grand Class Suite - it was perfect and new. Jess I saw your pics and they looked great! bummer though on the upgrade. the suite you upgraded to though was it in the main part of the hotel or was it one of the ones as you drive in? (the ones that look like small little town homes) Quote: Originally Posted by weddinggirl72 Thanks for the tips Jess! Did you get any timeshare pressure while you were there? Melissa we didn't work out ceremony details with Brad (the minister) until probably 2 weeks before the wedding. there really is no need to do all that so far in advance with him although it would be a good idea between now and then to start finding any special readings, ceremony's etc that you might want to incorporate into your ceremony and set those aside. that way when the time does come to work with the LC minister you are ready and can just pass your ideas right along.

And best of all, when I showed FI the pics of LC he got excited too. Now to just decide on the date. Right now we are leaning towards Feb 2011 - we are starting to build a house this April so have a busy year ahead. But wow! that seems like a long time to wait... Thanks for all the ideas and discussion - keep it up so I can keep dreaming of my perfect day! Aww I am glad you found the forum! I too found LC completely through the forum. I fell in love with it right away too and just had to convince my hubby that it was right. Any questions or anything just ask! Really though, planning a LC wedding is EASY! happy planning!
