LOL I went to Durango High School and Fort Lewis College for a bit. If your FI is a native Durangotang....I wonder how old he is? Love to see some girls close to home on here! we are neighbors! I am in Arvada too, we just bought our house about a year and a half ago and LOVE LOVE LOVE Arvada!
  2. Beautiful! everything looks great! ummm how did you balance yourself so well in a wedding dress on that palm tree!? and is that a lobster in your hand?!
  3. I think i might want to try this! If I could actually run a 5k that would be a huge accomplishment for me!

OH AWESOME! yep we did a site visit too and went over for the day trip as well. take your swimsuit and suntan lotion! oh and lots of pics too!

However, I would probably recommend either Keystone or Breck, just because they're only an hour or so from the city, and you could ski a few days, then explore around the city for a few days. I'm sure a skiier may have better advice for you. I don't know how much you're into music, but I would definitely check out Red Rocks Ampitheater schedule for your time out there to see if you like anyone that's playing. It is absolutely beautiful there, one of many must see's in CO! I am with you there! I am a CO native and don't ski or snowboard either! when I tell people that they look at me like I have a third eye or something. i like to compare it to a Californian who doesn't surf! anyway... I am sure Erika has some suggestions for a good place to ski
  6. That is fun that you were able to have a snowy background for your AHR and a beach setting for the wedding! I couldn't help but notice your ring...is it a black diamond?! I LOVE the setting! I have a black diamond too and I love it! they are so unique congrats Mrs.!
  7. have you tried searching the forum? there are plenty of threads already started about STD's and Invites. If you don't know how to search, try reading through this thread http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...k-forum-32313/
  8. Elizabeth thank you for sharing! that was a great slideshow! So many beautiful pictures!
  9. Like Jess, we did a portion of our TTD at a smaller Mexican village sort of beach town called Bucerias. From Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerias is about 10 minutes away so not too far...it is along the way to Sayulita and Punta Mita I believe. Anyway, it was a super cute little town you can see our TTD pics in the link in my siggy!

Tenley was my favorite until last night...How many freaking times are we going to hear that the last guy she was with was her ex-husband?! I think the only reason why he's going to pick Vienna is the sexual chemistry they have...there is no way it will last. I am glad you pointed that out! I did notice the dancing and laughed at it too! I agree with everything you said...I do like Tenley but YES we know you had an ex-hubby who cheated on you!!!! move on girl! Vienna just seems very immature and I think that will wear on Jake after awhile...I do think Vienna is the winner....blah I am kinda over this season
  11. I am convinced Ali called Jake back in an effort to try to remain in the spotlight so that she could get a shot at being the next 'bachelorette'. she pretty much admitted on Ellen that she would love the be the next bachelorette, ugh i did like her at first but not so much any more. Cougs! that means we may have baby cougies soon?! I love it!
  13. Michele - have and awesome time and please come back and share your pics! wow! a few cruise/LC brides! that is a cool way to do it especially if you all live in CA, cuts down on some expenses that way for the guests I am sure!

  16. I am pretty sure the passed hors d ourvres were included in my package too as part of the cocktail hour. Like Tara I didn't eat any of them because we were taking pictures. The wait staff did save us a little plate of them though (which I thought was nice) but still we didn't eat any, there was just too much going on! If it wouldn't have been for Nicole telling me to sit down and eat something I don't think I would have even ate dinner! She was good though about making sure I ate...which was a good thing

I might look into that to save some money. Where are you guys staying and how many guests do you have to transport? We stayed in Nuevo Vallarta and the Vallarta Adventures office/boat is much easier to find if you are leaving from the Nuevo marina. since we only had 30 guests, I just put my dad in charge of rounding up taxis for everyone. i think that way each taxi was only a few dollars each way to transport 4 people. So that was a cheaper option for us. If you are leaving from the PV marina though (depending on where your hotel is and how many guests you have) I would probably recommend the shuttle option
