Shannon, I was looking through your pics and I saw Mandy & Isaac in #280! They're sitting on the beach chairs, and Tim & I were on the beach bed behind them. It made me laugh as we were trying to be inconspicuous.

Don't have a rum punch recipe, but have an awesome rum cake one if you want it.

Lauren, since you aren't working this summer try adjusting your schedule to his for a while. Get up early when he does and get whatever you want done for the day before he gets home. Have dinner ready when he gets home and then just spend time together - don't worry about dishes or anything else. Go to bed when he does and spend more time cuddling, etc. When you only have a few hours a day to be a couple, it's really important to make those hours count. Enjoy those days off together, too.

The only problem was the lining wasn't flowy so it was harder to swim in. If the whole dress was a flowy material it would have been prettier in the water. I guess they don't design these things for swimming. Morgan, you crack me up! I'm sure dress designers haven't even thought about what makes a good TTD dress. That might be a profitable thing for them to start marketing.

Ooh, I love that idea for the birthday cake with all the names they had been known by. I'll have to remember that one! I guess on that same theme, we could put all the kids and grandkids' names around the cake.

I can chime in here about the fans as I made them for Mandy's wedding using ribbon and cymbidium ochids. They turned out great - and not a single person used them as it was so windy. I ended up with 5 or 6 of them stuffed into my bag while we were taking pictures on the beach as no one wanted to hold onto them and they would blow away if just left on the ground unattended. Also, they pick up the chairs and all the decor almost immediately after the ceremony, so nothing can be left on the chairs. The fans ended up being one of the costlier items I made and were the one thing I wish I hadn't done.

Wow! You must be their favorite niece! Seriously, that is so generous of them to offer to pay for your dress, plus it's a great way to encourage you, too. When will you graduate?

Yes, I had looked at Rachel's wedding pics, but Mandy also has a Snapfish account separate from mine that I've looked at and none of her pictures are showing up.

The weirdest thing just happened. I opened a new snapfish account, complete with my email address and password and when I went to "Friends Albums", guess who's picures were on there? RACHELS! There are two albums: Pro Wedding Pics, and Pro Pics Part 2! If I wasn't on BDW, I would have had no idea who was in the pictures, but I immediately said, "It's Rachel!" I don't have any idea how they got on there as I just started this account and the pictures are dated March 08. Crazy!

Welcome, Sarah! I've been on two different cruise ships - Carnival and Holland America. Holland by far exceeded Carnival in every aspect - the room was nicer, the food was excellent the whole week, the entertainment was amazing, and the staff was so friendly. I'd also definitely recommend getting a balcony. Good luck with your planning.

Yes, we did the candlelight dinner on the beach and it was awesome. We had the 3 cheese fondue - it's different than the one you get off the menu at La Fondue and way better. (We went to La Fondue several nights later hoping to have it again, but the one you order there only includes one of the meats - not all 3, plus the mushrooms and bread. Also it has a different combo of cheeses.) The candlelight fondue included steak, shrimp, chicken, mushrooms and tiny round rolls. The baked alaska was also outstanding. Something they don't tell you, there is a saxophone player that goes from table to table playing with the recorded background music and it was actually really nice. Also, you can get that great French toast at Kampai for breakfast. Several people in our group had it every single morning. If you stay in the casitas, you can order it by room service, too. They ended up costing a little less than $20 per OOT bag including the welcome books - each couple shared a bag. They were really fun to do. I asked Mandy about everything before I bought it to get her approval since she would be the one handing them out.
