  1. I love them! I just copied off a page of them and they are so cute. My husband thinks I've gone over the edge..... Keep those ideas coming Morgan!
  2. Too cute! I'd already bought the individual immodium packets for my daughter's OOT bags, but I'm taking them back and making these!
  3. Your guests will appreciate so much useful information all in one place. Great job!
  4. It sounds like you've got a great TA who isn't afraid to go to bat for you. Has she suggested any other options for resorts that she would highly recommend? I'm sure she can guide you, plus you've also started on the right track by asking for help on the forum. If you're having children at the wedding that definitely excludes some resorts. Deciding on which resort was also my daughter's hardest decision. Once that's done, the rest is cake! Good luck!

    Hi all

Welcome! This site will become the first place you go in the morning and the last thing you do before you go to bed! There's tons of great info her to help you plan you big day!
  6. So far my daughter has 19 guests going to her DW, and I have done all the booking of rooms and airfare. As long as you have 10 people flying, you can get a discount on American of 5%; they will send you a promo code to use. There are also lots of good sites that combine air/resorts at great prices. Try worryfreevacations.com, cheapcaribbean.com, vacationstogo.com, applevacations.com.
  7. We saw some neat dominoes we're going to order. They come with their own bags (in 4 different colors) and are 12 sets for $7.95.

I'm afraid to go with the photographer on site. What are your thoughts? We are going to pay for 3 nights, as our photographer is also a guest of ours.
  9. Beautiful dress! It will be just perfect for your wedding. You'll always compare every other dress to this one - go for it!
  10. Thanks, Anna. We will do the same - book her as part of the reception and dinner. I'll send you a copy of the resort booking for the photographer when I get it.
  11. I love puzzles and this is a great idea to include in the OOT bags. You could do one about the resort where you're staying - names of restaurants, bars, etc.
  12. Welcome! My daughter is getting married at El Dorado Royale, but there are many great resorts to choose from. You'll find lots of info here to help you decide.
  13. OK, we've come up with something we're wondering about. Do you have to pay for an extra chair at the wedding and reception for a guest who's also the photographer? If they are booked as a friend who is staying at the resort, do we need to include them in the chair/reception count?
  14. The adjacent hotel to the north is a Karisma-owned property, but you will not see it because of the wall. I did see some people peeking around the wall at the beach, though. The people at the adjoining hotel can come to EDSS to eat, but they must be clothed. The beach is much nicer as you go south, so don't know why you'd want to go north anyways. Now there were several (as in 4 or 5) topless women at EDSS, as I'm sure there are at EDR or any other resort.
  15. Thanks for sharing the great pictures. My daughter will be using Gazebo 55 also, so it was fun to see it. Can't wait to see more pics!
  16. Welcome & Congrats! You'll have a great time planning your wedding with all the help you'll find here!

  18. My husband and I spent a week at Seaside last May. It takes about an hour from the airport to get to the resort. It is definitely easy to walk the whole grounds, which are very beautiful and the atmosphere is very laid-back. Next door is a nude resort, but there's a large wall between. There are sandbags, but the beach is pretty. There is really only one place available for the ceremony. If you want an upgraded room to the Casitas you'll need to go to EDR. I guess it boils down to how many choices you want and how much you want to interact with your guests. I don't think you'd go wrong with either one.
  19. Welcome and congratulations! You'll find all the answers to your many questions here, and lots of help in planning your DW.
  20. Leia - Love your mom's dress. Very classy, but not too fancy. All the moms look great. It must be that Mother-of-the-Bride glow!!

Question: Do you have to pay to rent the music equipment for iPod twice, or is it just a one time fee? Thanks! There is a post earlier in this thread that has an attachment with the standard cakes at EDR. One is a 3-tier square. Looks nice.
