really! i thought pre registration was optional for a quicker boarding! im telling everyone to make sure they have a certified birth certificate and drivers license if not a passport. could you imagine having an issue like that...id die!

We are finally starting so see those last minute stragglers booking their cabins! We are up to 17 cabins now = 39 people. My pre-travel brochure kicked everyone into cruise mode I guess. Of course I already ran out to get my OOT bag goodies so obviously I'll need to hunt for more of the same items...this could be fun. I guess it's a good problem to have. The more the merrier! Are you guys going to do a hair trial? I am not but am torn between an up-do I love for my BM hair (so much I want it for my own) or a 1/2 up do that is super cute. I guess I'll make a finally decision on the day of. Go for the 1/2 up and if I hate it tell her to put it all up. My dress for a reference: Time sure is flying by guys! Before you know it we will all be HITCHED!!! =)

Does anyone have the PPT or word files for these type of guestbook pages? I have only been able to find jpeg. TIA

I decided against sending a formal invites after realizing that my STD'd prompt those who want to come to reserve their cabins. I am sending out the brochures to everyone who has booked and those who have hinted that they want to come....not the "no's". I'm really happy with them because they serve the purpose of getting info to those coming and reminding the others they better "get a move on". I added a rafia wrapped band and shell beads for some pop. When I saved my file as a jpeg it put these black outlines around the wording, etc. They are not really on the document that way but you get the idea...

We sent STD's which most people booked from the info on those. But, I ended up going with a formal...invitation looking brochure to send to only those who are maybe's or yes's. This accomplishes the goal of getting tons of info about the cruise, wedding, activites, weather out to those who are coming and also has TA info and a "invitation wording" section for those who are maybe's. I'm really happy with them =)

I was planning on sending invites but the more I think about it, the more I find it unnecessary. We have 34 people booked...do I send them an invite or I'm thinking an info brochure would be better. Do I send those who have not already booked an invite? Even if I am sure they will not come? Should I do invites for those not booked and brochures for booked? Opinions please...I tend to over scrutinize but my invites will be DIY so any efforts I can save myself, the better. Thanks ladies!

oh...one additional suggestion for you. I had my vendors put in an "act of God" clause which means that just in case we do not port, I will get a full refund of any deposits I have made. Our wedding is in Feb so I should have nothing to worry about either but its nice to have that just in case!!

i am getting married in the caymans as well. we are meeting at the hotel to sign paperwork as soon as the boat docks. then me and my girls will get ready on shore and he is going back to the boat to return with all of our guests for an 11 a.m. wedding. we leave port at 4pm but plan on leaving the hotel (10 min away from port) by 2:45pm

OK...so I wanted to update everyone with the great news. I finally bought THE dresses. I never bought the ones this thread started with and I started out w/ JCrew beach embossed dress but took those back. These are so perfect! They are from Nordstrom and I got a great deal. They match my GM shirts perfect!! This is an added bonus of how the BM hair will be: SHEW...glad this is done. It has been the biggest headache so far but I am sooo happy now!

Ok guys...I decided against the dress I posted on here based on reactions from my BMs about the color (navy isnt my wedding color but I was willing to change it to make the BM dress search OVER). Anyways...I found the perfect dress at Marshalls of all places. I will post pics tomorrow but the dress is like a cobalt blue color. Not too casual, not too dressy...just right! And only $30. Thank goodness this is over. It was so much easier to find my wedding dress.

It doesnt look like it has Kleenex attached to the sleeve does it. I like the detail on the strap but it makes me uneasy. What are your thoughts

YAY- I was feeling so left out being a Feb bride...not now =) I was originally worried the weather is a high of 81. For a wedding, that's perfect, for the beach I wasn't sure. Now I am convinced that it'll be OK, comfortable beach weather. I have quite a few things to do still: Alterations Outfit for our son-ring bearer Change out the GM pants (we had a change of plan with one guy after I already bought the outfits) Buy a microphone sound system (to be returned after the wedding--heehee) Buy an Ipod (I know I'm a little behind on technology) to be used for the reception and make a song list Jewlery for me and BMs Buy shoes for me Finalize OOT bag goodies w/ labels, etc Make a newsletter for guests in leu of an invite (sent STD)
