    Ladies, I am just starting the planning. So far we know that we want to elope on the beach by ourselves. We will later have a party at home/reception for friends and family. But, we are not sure where to get married. Feedback on Puerto Rico, St Thomas, and St John would be appreciated. I have read through some of the threads. I was hoping that some of the world travelers around here (that have been to PR and USVI) could sort of compare the two as we have not been to either. Thanks! GiGi

    Hello all, I am the new girl around here. My name is Gretchen. I just got engaged and am thinking of a Destination Wedding. I did some visiting and found this forum to be full of information and wanted to join. We are not sure where we are going to get married. We want a beach wedding and are thinking of Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands for the ease of legalities - that would still be getting married in the United States. No date set for sure yet.... Still deciding lots of things. I look forward to being a part of your group. ~Gretchen
